Not bad. I like the chillers. The place always seems to be filled with old gay men, though. Spilling out onto the sidewalk, even. I think it might be where old queens go to die. Like an elephant graveyard for elderly homosexuals. Oh well. They're not hurting anybody.

I give it a 3 basically for location, otherwise it's a 2. Old coffee, old food. At least they recovered the chairs inside after four years of them falling apart and being soiled black beyond belief. I've seen them mix coffees before and I've also had non-decaf coffee that kept me up all night when it was supposed to be decaf. Location is the best part here and great patio when the smokers are not around.

Review from Chris M.
My girlfriend and I made a habit of coming here during the winter months, but we've since tapered off a bit. It's not a bad place to go for a quick breakfast scone and a hot drink. This location seems to be perpetually populated by a big group of older local guys hanging out and shooting the breeze about movies, current events and pop culture. The owners of this particular Timothy's are very nice people who have gotten to know their regulars quite well - it's relaxed and not as mechanical as Starbucks, even though there might be less variety in the drinks, and they may not be as tasty. It's coffee for the person who doesn't care about having their extra hot grande skinny vanilla with skim in a venti cup or whatever. I'd recommend the uncomplicated Breakfast blend and an apple coffee cake.
