Almost one (1) year ago my rent went up by almost eleven (11%) percent.  I'll admit that the new owners (Timbercreek) are improving the property, but in the meantime, they are humiliating themselves.  I have preauthorized debit for rent.  They messed up and gave me an eviction notice, stating that I didn't pay my rent.  I *thought* I lost my laundry card.  They told me it would cost $50 to replace it.  So I called coinamatic, and they told me they give free laundry cards to management. I threw a fit and refused to pay, and finally got it for free.  Then I found my card.  Now I have two.  :)

There is now a beautiful new amenities room, but due to the fact that management here is terribly rude, and the building nickels and dimes you for every penny, it's not worth it.  Now my rent will be going up to at the very least $1,050/month, which is a raise of over 20%, and the only improvement is the new amenities area.  Also, if you want to use it after hours, you have to go to security.  Sounds easy, but super inconvenient.  On Saturday night I waited for 10 minutes for security to come to the desk, and when I was done I waited for 20 minutes (they keep your ID while you have the game items).

In the 3 years that I've been living here the garbage chutes have never worked, nor do they to this day.

There are many other appartments downtown offering the same or less rent for much better living environments.  Save your money.  Timbercreek and Bromely Square are dives.
