This is a great location for Tim Hortons. The front end staff are friendly and efficient.
I've been in here where the line up has been nearly out the door and waited no more then 5 min. max. Never any problems with any errors on my order ever... And always friendly front end staff.. Nice to see compared to some other Tim Hortons. I would have given this a 5* only reason is, I can never find a vacant seat! Always have to take out....

The staff members at this location are great and the service is in no way responsible for my low rating of this location. They're always friendly and don't hesitate to try and make a connection with their customers. The last time I came here, all I needed was a gift certificate and the cashier joked about how I need to treat myself too. He seems like a pretty nice guy and always has a smile on his face when I stop by.

I do find that sometimes this location is a little grimy. It's rare to find a table that doesn't have remnants from the previous customer's meal left behind. The floors are also always dirty. I'm not a huge germaphobe so these things don't really repel me from continuing to eat here, but they certainly don't enhance the atmosphere.

The biggest issue with this location are the customers. I don't know if it's just the combination of being in close proximity to the university and the hospital but there's just something about the people that come here that makes me uncomfortable. The last time I stayed to eat my food, a random old man yelled at us because he didn't like our topic of conversation. Geez old guy! At least try to be subtle with your eavesdropping!

It's a Tim's, not rocket science.  This one happens to be my neighbourhood Tim's in contrast to my work Tim's and the Tim's I stop at on the way out of town.

I get what I'm looking for, a sweet creamy coffee (not strong enough to offend anyone) and a chocolate dip.  What more do I really expect?  Latte? No. Gourmet food? No. Bahn Mi? No. Tim's to be anything other than Tim's? I mean, it's like expecting an elephant to fly and poop rainbows ... really.  It's a little bit nuts to get worked up about the quality of sandwiches and food, good or bad, at a doughnut and coffee place. Please, with the sodium and fat levels of this food, it's not like it's a health food stop.   It's a Tim's, not like it isn't clearly marked as a Tim's.

I'd give it four stars, but this location does not have a drive-thru and it really screams for one, being a Wendy's/Tim's hybrid store.

The food and coffee here is exactly what you expect from Tim Hortons, and the service is relatively quick... the lines are pretty big, but they move fast.

This location is open 24 hours, and during the day it's packed with students and hospital staff and everyone else. I used to live by there, and occasionally went to study later in the evening. And oh boy, once the day time rush dies down a bit, this is place can get pretty depressing. The last time I was there, there were at least three sketchy looking people sleeping at different tables around the place. And being right across from the hospital, when I occasionally saw families with kids in there late at night, you know it's not a happy time...

But! Assuming you're not going to sit there for a couple hours with nothing to do but study or people watch (and so notice just how depressing this place can be), it's your standard Tim Hortons. Meh.

My favorite Timmy's in the whole, wide world (thus far).  I love this Tim Hortons near the Unviersity hospital for several reasons.  Of course, for starters it's a full-on 24 hr Tim Hortons and since it doesn't have a drive-through, undivided attention goes to customers at the front-end.

The 24 hour aspect of it is a real boon for I have found myself late at night with a cup of medium double-double steeped tea on more than occasion and as a place that's always active (thanks to the night staff at the hospital), this place never feels quiet, dim or ghetto at night.

Of course, early in the morning and for most hours through the day, the crowd is a lot more.  The worst possible time to come here is probably between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. when, on a daily basis, the queue extends out of the cafe.

I've always had good service here, in terms of the food, coffee and other things.  You know, like how sometimes they cut the bagel into unequal halves?  Yea, that never seems to happen here.  Also, given that it's pretty close to the university and also a stone's throw from the early bird parking structure, this place is perfect for a morning breakfast BELT combo - although, I've almost sworn to never have that again .. it's too good :-D

I feel a tad sorry for the Wendys people that share the store with Timmy ... there's never anyone buying their chicken sandwich .. even during lunch time, Timmy has more rush ... (Go Canada??) .. so, what they should do is get done with that Wendys counter and make it a huge Timmy counter .. with like 15 docks to order from :-)

Hockey, Tim Hortons, and toques.  I'll take "Stupid things of Canadian Identity" for 232 Canadian Tire dollars, Trebek.

I can't believe that the coffee from this establishment has come to represent our national identity.  It's not even ok by a quality standard.

And what's with the lineups at the Drive Thru?  Do they sell crack cocaine?

Ah, Timmie's ... what would we Canadians do without you? Honestly, I don't know what I'd do without my timbits and iced cap. Starbucks would probably take over without Tim Horton's here, and even though I don't despise Starbucks as many people seem to, that would be a sad sad fate. Even Second Cup couldn't hold down the fort for long. I really do think Tim Horton's contributes to what we know as a Canadian identity though. It's right up there with beavers and snow.

Like most Canadians, my relationship with Timmie's has been a long-term and committed one. The cravings for an iced cappuccino are synonymous with the first warm day of summer. And my cravings for timbits are, well, pretty much constant. They're like the best thing ever invented in the world of donuts. And their cookies melt in your mouth, especially the double fudge ...oh, man -- I feel a craving coming on as I write this.

When I'm out and about and I want a healthy lunch, I go to Timmie's for their soup combo. All of their soups are good, but I like the classic chicken noodle the best. I always get the coffee/soup/donut combo. That way I get my healthy lunch, and then I get to take away the healthy factor by scarfing down my donut in minutes. It's the best! Here's to you, Timmie's!

There's always a good excuse to have an Iced Cappuccino, isn't there? Hot day, depression, thirst--these are all good reasons. I love the Iced Cap so much, in fact, that even a cold -28 degrees Celsius day can't stop me from using it as an excuse to indulge.

I usually go to Tim's for a treat, like some Tim Bits or a half-dozen of their delicious cookies. And although they do have stuff like sandwiches and soups, I wouldn't say that Tim Horton's is healthy. Even some of the muffins, like Fruit Explosion, could not possibly be much better than a doughnut.

The sandwiches here are pretty good, but way too expensive. The chili is actually a really good price, and it's tasty! It's now selling for $3.99, and it comes with delicious garlic toast. I only wish they made vegetarian chili too.

I love this location, because there is a Wendy's attached. This place is huge, but it's also busy all the time. It's not the best place to come for a quiet place to study, but it's great still a great place to chat and kill your hunger.

If you think good coffee means its full of sugar, milk and 'flavor shots' then this is the place for you.  If you order black you are in for a disaster as the brew is watered down and funky without the requisite double-double.  Donuts are awful, as with all locations.  Sandwiches are fine, though nothing special.  Staff has a collective IQ of about 50 and move at a snails pace.

Wow, totally disagree with the last reviewer.  Most Tim Hortons serve that addictive coffee that hits the spot in the morn! Even when it's backed up they move the line at a reasonable pace....well most places anyways. People, go to Tim Hortons...the best coffee in Canada!
