Review from Kirk F.
It seems I review a lot of Tim Hortons but they're all over the place and as I get older, I'm becoming addicted to their tea.
This location gets a big 'thumbs up' for providing consistently good service.
But what really catches my eye each time I go is how this is very much one of those Tims where you see many of the same customers. It's definitely a local community spot; lots of older folks come to get together, chat and ... do whatever else it is that old people do when they get together. I dunno, share medical horror stories? Complain about how things were better when they were younger? Plot to vote in mass numbers to control the political agenda? -

Can't believe I'm really reviewing Tim's, it is really much more of a rant.
Times, they are a changin' or rather have been changed for a long time. This specific Tim's doesn't deserve all my ire, but since I stopped here last night it gets some it.
Gone are the days when I destroy a bunch of donuts for fun... Apple fritters from the late 80's were awesome, Boston creme as well! But now, I can't get any consistency! All I want is to have acceptably consistent end product when I order my large tea with one cream and three sugar. Possible? You'd think so, but no, it tastes different most every time. How about stirring the darn tea? I like it sweet but prefer each drink to be not just the last 3 when I finally taste the 3 sugars! -

Very good Tim Hortons!
If you are new to Canada and aren't sure where to get coffee and donuts, Tim Hortons is a safe bet. Canadians love it because its cheap, has a pretty good selection and was created by a Hockey Player who's name was Tim Horton. But at the end of the day, this is a chain of coffee and donut shops. So what separates one from the other? Its staff.
The staff at this Tim Hortons are very nice. There are one or two that seem to have some chips on their shoulders but I won't let that deter my review from the other, very nice staff that work there. I don't just hear the standard, "how can I help you today," they almost always throw in a smile on top. I am a big fan of smiles because they are easy and can create more tips, but it amazes me how many people do not smile at their job. And for the record, Tim Hortons does not have Tip Jars, but they will definitely take tips. So throw a dollar there way if you see a smile.
My only critique is that I came in earlier this week and wanted a bagel that was toasted. Their Toaster was down so they couldn't toast my bagel. Out of curiosity I asked them when did they think it will be fixed. They told me at least a few days if not more. I don't know if its company policy, but even if it wasn't, if I were the Manager, I'd just go out and buy a regular toaster to cover up the situation until the other industrial size one was fixed. But that's just me.
This particular Tim Hortons is open quite early but does also close early. The customer's range in all ages. but I wanted to review this Tim Hortons in particular because of the great customer service. It helps separate this one apart from the others and is the reason I keep going back.
