Review from Kristine H.
A stop always when I'm up north, it was an easy choice for a fast breakfast while we were in town. We ordered some of their hot breakfast sandwiches with sausage, egg and cheese, and some of the home-style hash browns. I enjoyed an ice mocha with my breakfast and my friend stuck with hot coffee. She also had never experienced the fun of those addictive little Timbits so she grabbed a 10-pack of the honey dip crullers.
We scarfed our food and people-watched. The majority of the patrons were clad in work-out gear which confused us. It wasn't until we left the restaurant that we saw the gym across the parking lot. Heh. What a way to celebrate a work-out...
The dining area was busy and kept relatively clean. The pick-up window for the coffee had empty sugar wrappers and straws but they were cleaned up during our visit. The employees were very pleasant and attentive. And I'd most definitely return here for the Timbits and a hot fast breakfast on the go. -

Busy location next to the steve Nash gym. Huge parking lot but gets full quickly as it's a popular spot on the busy lougheed road which makes it an even more convenient pit stop.
Lots of seating that is spread out nicely. Bathrooms are clean and service is friendly. Food is pretty blah but the coffee and donuts are cheap. I usually find that their coffees have an after taste of cigarette but I was pleasantly surprised with my decaf coffee. It was very nice... Strong, not burnt, made me happy.
Somewhat star sighting: while I was there, the Portland AHL 1hockey team was also there grabbing a bite to eat. So cool to see young professional hockey players all dressed up in suits at a timmy's!
Note: they only accept MasterCard, cash and debit. No visa! -

Ever thought about living the 'Canadian Dream'?
You can start by visiting Tim Hortons and picking up a piping-hot large double-double! Well, after playing or watching a classic game of hockey, of course.. at least that's my variation of the dream.
Anyways. This is my go-to Tim Hortons location for several reasons:
- Ease of accessibility (located along Lougheed Hwy. and Gilmore Ave.)
- More than enough parking available.
- Open 24/7 (excluding Christmas and New Years Eve).
However, depending on what time of the day you visit, service is either quick and efficient or slower than a sloth.
I've had moments (especially during the morning rush) when my coffee and breakfast sandwiches were done in less than a minute.
In contrast, late at night when there are barely any customers around, I've witnessed employees doing their own thing rather than addressing the customers. What makes it worse is that they notice us waiting but still take things gingerly.
Despite these inconsistencies, Tim Hortons will still be my place to fulfill that Canadian Dream of mine. -

Parking is ample as there is a large strip mall up the hill.
The lineup here is pretty long. It spills out the door once in a while. But the service, while not the nicest, is prompt.
My breakfast sandwich ($3.01 after tax), while delicious, was unfortunately not life-changing. Just a heads up.
The other thing worth mentioning: you have to enter/exit the parking lot while heading Westbound only. No go for Eastbound. Just wrap around the block (Gilmore, Halifax, Madison, Lougheed) to get there. -

One of the older Tim's in the GVR, always busy, not really close to any businesses, and one where the service is consistently mediocre at best. I have come here a couple times during this week and I find that the staff here really do not listen to your order. They have repeated my order wrong both times I was here. Instead they consistantly talk to their co-workers while servicing the paying clientele. I would drop this to one star, but the product served is still good ol' Timmy's, and they do not goof up on the order once served.
During school semesters, come here in the middle of the night, it is packed with open text books, and students burning the midnight oil for their test the next day, like every other Tim Hortons. This is one of the better ones to study, as it is away from the mainstream. -

Tim Horton's is always so busy for breakfast, lunch, dinner and to me I don't know why. Maybe because of their consistently mediocre offerings, the cheap coffees? I remember a time when they were actually good. The doughnuts were baked onsite. Those days are gone now that they ship them frozen from back east more efficient and cost effective I guess. The only thing I don't mind getting is their coffee and muffins which are pretty good, and if there are no other real alternatives for a doughnut fix I will pick up a doughnut. Their meals are just tasteless don't bother, sandwiches no good. Salad never tried it. Soup tanks.

Although Tim Hortons may always be busy for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I always find myself going here whenever I go to Canada to visit family. I absolutely enjoy the doughnuts here which include honey dip, chocolate dip, Smarties topped, glazed, and many other selections. They also make great bagels and offer some good sandwiches. A great place to visit or to hang out with friends anytime!
