This is a wonderful store and a treasure on the drive. Filled with beautiful things from Latin America, including gorgeous scarves and jewelry. The owner is absolutely lovely too - a great small business very deserving of support.

I originally thought "oh wow, everything but groceries..." and then I realized they do sell hot sauces. So everything but the kitchen sink? Art, clothing, toys, figurines, from Latin and South America.
Picked up some worry dolls from Guatamala and my friend got the perfect set of purple sparkley heart earrings with crosses and skulls. If you are looking for something special for you or for a gift, check this place out. -

This is my favorite store on the Drive!
It's filled with fun and fantastic goods from Mexico including lots of Frida Kahlo stuff. The lady who owns this store is helpful and nice. Go, smile, shop and support a local business. -

I love this shop! It's chock full of fresh Mexican art and crafts. I've bought some nicely received gifts there, including two stained glass pieces, the likes of which I never saw anywhere else.
The owner is nice too. She has a really good buying eye so what you have here are some unusual art pieces and better quality hand made things. It's not your average 'ethnic store'.
Make sure you allot an amount of time to really comb through the merchandise because it's really packed to the hilt!Listed in: Retail therapy on a tight…

Neat store with all sorts of arts, clothing, and other little treasures from Latin and South America. I've always been interested in things from other countries/cultures so it made sense for me to stop by and take a look. The owner was really nice as well.

One of my top 5 stored on the Drive. I'm partial to all things Latin. But I don't want to sound biased because this is actually a very cute little store that packs a lot of substance. Lots of little gizmos, handmade jewelry, clothes and folk art.. but the most convincing reason why this should rank as top 5 on my list? The rare, quality-print photographs of Frida, my love.

This adorable little shop is tucked away on the South end of the Drive and I don't often get down there, but when I'm looking for a special one of a kind gift, Tierra Del Sol always comes through. Recently I was shopping for a birthday memento for a girlfriend who is part hippie love child, part 80's rocker, and a dash of Suzy Homemaker all rolled into one. And of course, I found the perfect thing at this great store chock full of Latin inspired trinkets and treasures. From jewelry to clothes, to authentic folk art and pottery pieces, they have it all. I always find exactly what I didn't know what I was looking for and always for less than what I'd thought I'd spend!

Tierra Del Sol is the place to go for your little dead people. That being, of course, los muertitos, a popular symbol of the Day of the Dead festivals in Latin America. The store offers an array of unique fashions, jewellery, crafts, art and textiles from all regions of Latin America. There are some unique finds along with the usual knick-knacks. It's a short trip to a colourful destination!
