THE most appalling customer service experience I have ever had.
We ordered a taxi from Black Cabs to the Mississauga Convention Centre. We were waiting for the Black Cab longer than the operator had indicated. While waiting, a taxi from Thunderbolt drove by twice asking if we were "Don". We said, "No, we're waiting for another cab company". After driving by the third time, the driver seemed to have given up on his original patron and asked us to get in. We were also getting frustrated at this point at Black Cabs so we decided to hop in.
While in the taxi, I called Black Cabs to cancel (they were gracious about the whole thing). The Thunderbolt Driver, Sam, heard me cancel our original cab. Sam then called the operator telling them that Don hadn't shown up and that he had picked us up instead. He was talking loudly and rudely to his boss. The boss, a very classy bloke himself, told the cab to turn around and drop us back to the Convention Centre.
My mother and I were shocked. Sam, the taxi driver, made a dangerous U-Turn and then told us to "get out the taxi" repeatedly. As we were walking away, Sam yelled at us four separate times "get in the All Star Cab, just get in the other Cab".
The most unprofessional driver and company I have ever experienced. Also, I was told that Thunderbolt was actually illegally picking us up. They are a Brampton based company and cannot pick anyone up in Mississauga unless they are called.
