Cheryl D. and Krista L. are both bang on - this is a gourmet bakery for dog treats, dog foods, dog cakes, and just about anything else for dogs that you can create with organic ingredients that an owner can actually pronounce. We've played around with some of their kibbles, treats and chews which were at times life-savers with one of our pooches who has stomach issues that would send the residents of Pompeii running.
Their stock of bath products, leashes, collars, clothes, and incredible locally-made (I think?) doggie art make for a fantastic shopping experience that will keep you from any big box pet aisle for the rest of your life. -

I was very excited to discover the Three Dog Bakery. For those of you who haven't yet heard of it, it's a gourmet bakery - for Dogs!
When you first walk in, the room smells heavenly... All of the freshly made dog treats are in large case displays and elegantly presented. Some of the items on display include:
- Large bone shaped treats customized with dog's name;
- Pup-cakes;
- Peanut Mutter Cookies, and
- Large bone shaped birthday cookies.
Considering that they're all essentially just dog-treats, they're a little over priced, but they seem to be more-so priced comparatively with people treats (e.g. Doggy Birthday cake $18, Pup-cakes $2).
In addition to their freshly made treats, they also sell a selection of pre-packaged treats and other doggy accessories and toys. Overall, I was very impressed with the store - who would have thought that there'd ever be a market for a gourmet doggy treats! -

WOW what a store. This is like the Freak Lunch Box for Dogs. The Three Dog Bakery is the first of this kind that I have come across in NS but after looking it up on the net these locations are across the world. Walking through the crossing we spotted this location and having a dog ourselves we took a peek in.
OMG to cute A Dog Birthday Cake it is called a Bone Cake for $18.95. Now this is something that Murphy will be getting on his special day to celebrate turning 7. Honestly I really did not think about a concept like this.
Not only are there BD cakes there is a variety of other dog treats like cookies with several flavours to chose from and cupcakes and even bagels..
Bath accessories for the dogs are available as well like shampoos and special grooming tools. And after they are smelling all pretty you can even purchase something from the Dog clothing line like a sweater.
If you are a dog owner you must check out this store I guarantee that you will be walking out with some form of treat.
