Holy drink specials Batman! 4 for $14 shots, 4 for $20 Jagerbombs, $5.75 double highballs and some cheap ass beer, how is a girl to choose!
I liked Three Below but being in a bar located under a movie theater in such a beautiful city is a bit of a shame, woulda been nice to have an actual window to look out of!
The staff were friendly, my bf really enjoyed his half rack of ribs for $10 however i got the poutine and could only have about half of it before giving up due to salt overload! -

Huge portions. Good value for Whistler.
Not wanting to get hosed, we ended up here. In the basement next to the movie theater, it's pretty chill.
In true Whistler fashion, the friendly staff had accents. I had the chicken quesadilla but also sampled their lasagna (massive piece). Though the food won't win any chef awards, it'll get you stuffed for a reasonable price and more than likely leave you leftovers.
I didn't drink, but they had good deals. -

Not the best location in Whistler unless you're going to the movies, but this place is definitely worth checking out. They have awesome drink specials ($5.75 for a double shot drink!) and the food ain't that shabby. Go for the apres and you'll be set for dinner.
Yam fries: tasty
Beef and ale pie: tasty
Pulled pork: tasty
Chili: ok (could use a bit more flavor)
The staff is really friendly as well! -

Last week, my friends and I spent new years in Whistler. Finding a restaurant for 12 people the day NYE was no simple task. After several attempts and skin blistering temperatures, we stumbled on Three Below next to the movie theater. The place had great ambience, beautiful waitresses and a full bar, perfect. They set us up within a few minutes and the drinking and apres-New Years debauchery ensued. Our amusing waitress carried a walkie-talkie to communicate with the other staff and kitchen, but after she let us in on her channel with out own walkie-talkies, well...I'll let you imagine what happened, 10-4?
The menu had great variety to suit everyones picky desires: baked lasagna, burgers, BBQ ribs, etc. What stuck out to me was "Pri's Butter Chicken." For some reason, this didn't fit the menu but I had a feeling our Indian waitress with a sexy English accent may have had some clue. She explained with much excitement, that she taught the kitchen how to make the perfect butter chicken curry, a recipe she took with her from back home. I'm usually not a fan of butter curry because I find it too heavy and thick, but after her explanation I was sold.
The curry arrived on a large silver platter, decorated with soft basmati rice and the thickest, tastiest Naan I had ever tried. The best part was the butter curry that arrived in a separate silver bowl. I could tell right away that the curry was a bit thinner and smelled delicious. After pouring the bowl over my rice I ate the curry with speed and hunger, intermittently feeding my neighbors at the table. Finally, I put my fork and spoon down and polished the plate off with the fluffy Naan. The plate was so clean, they could have served a new dish of butter chicken on it. The combination or chicken, curry and rice plus Naan to clean everythign up was perfect. Ontop of that, I left he restaurant satisfied without the sensation of feeling bloated or morbidly obese as I often do with Indian food. -

We stopped by because the friendly hostess at the front entrance did a good job of luring us in. It's underground so don't expect any outdoors dining or mountains views. I ordered the lasagna which was on special. Good portion for the price. Waitress forgot our appetizer of wings so she comped them. Nachos were way over-priced with low quality chips. The place was pretty slow even though whistler was very busy. Overall I wasn't too impressed.

The veggie burger is awesome - it's a portobello mushroom with some great fixins on it. The pot pie is also awesome as are the wedge yam fries!
You also can't beat $6 double highballs!Listed in: Whistler Eats

Good food, quite, out and away from the crowd. Next to the movie theater.

One of the more budget friendly options in Whistler. It's a cool, underground restaurant-pub. The burger here is quite nice. And it comes with everything you want. From what I heard from others at the table, the pot pie was really nice and so is the CMM (Chicken, Mushroom, and Mozzarella) Burger.
And the international staff working there are quite hot (5 sexy stars for them!)! It was unfortunate they ran out of beer on tap, but to make up for it they had double high balls for $6. However, I'm pretty sure after the first one they were only giving us singles. -

Perfect escape from the mayhem of the plaza. DELICIOUS yam fries too!

Good pub food - well prepared and the menu had some interesting items. The server was helpful and friendly, offering useful information about the menu. The yam fries with curry dip were excellent - I have never liked yam fries, until I tasted these. Ordered them because my husband wanted them, and I quickly devoured half the order. Butter chicken was good - a little more tomato-y than I am used to but it was very nice. The 1516 beer on tap was a nice Belgian lager. We'll be visiting again soon!

Three below is definetly an appropriate name for this place...and by appropriate, im referring to it being underground....hence, the 'below'. We walked around the village on our first night checking out all the menus, and we were drawn to this place due to its $10 burger and beer deal. I mean, how can you beat a burger and a beer for $10?!! It's located next to a movie theater underground, so walking in, it smells like popcorn...but once you get past the theater and into the place, it looks very much like you would expect a sports bar to look like. The flat screen tv's were all tuned to various hockey games...of course. We sat down and we all ordered the burger and beer special. You can add on ingredients like cheese, grilled onions, mushrooms, etc, for a $1 more apiece. But the majority of us decided to take it as is. And boy it was a good decision! The patty isnt some thin patty or whatever, but a fat, juicy, delicious, piece of beef....ok, so im no food critic, but all you need to know is that out of the 3 nights there in the whistler village, we ended up eating here 2 out of the 3 nights. The burger & beer deal also comes with a side of fries...and who doesnt love a good plate of fries, especially after a day on the mountain!
