Every year around my birthday I can be certain of three things: a camping trip, a vodka watermelon and a trip to the dermatologist. Gotta love freckles...
And even more you have to heart a dermatologist who shakes your hand annually and smiles the whole time he examines my mole-enthusiastic skin. Professional and proficient, he's usually running 15 minutes behind but an appointment can be as swift as 10 minutes. Dr Thomas is in high demand. After the mandatory referral trip to my GP, it can be as long as a 3 month wait. Word to the wise - book early.
The office is a whole floor of this professional complex. It's old, it's stuffy, it's almost intimidating... and the plexiglass separating you from the nurses is a little insulting. And it's easy to get confused by the "segregated" stairs-cum-washrooms, one side for the ladies, one for the gents.
Other points of contention - the slow elevator that only has 4 floors to stop on, begging the question, what is the hold up?
The tiny, one way parking lot. Fuggetaboutit. Just park in the lot one building to the east. At least you won't be begging for a fender bender in that one.
