My dentist Dr. Tom and his team of hygienists are wonderful. They take good care of my teeth, are restrained in giving the "flossing lecture," and keep in mind both urgency and the limits of one's dental insurance plan when recommending non-routine procedures.
Plus, although they play the dentist-office-standard easy listening music, you can also watch TV while having your teeth cleaned. Bonus points for being non-judgemental and not commenting about my penchant for trashy TV and ADD-like channel surfing.
I always love the moment when they (hopefully) declare me cavity free and send me forth with a spanking new toothbrush and floss.

Dr Melissa Skinner is thrilled to be practising dentistry in beautiful North Vancouver. She did both her undergraduate and dental degrees at the University of British Columbia. Melissa wants her patients to receive the highest quality dentistry. She works with the top dental laboratories and uses the safest and strongest dental materials. She commits to lifelong learning, and is a member at the Kois Centre in Seattle, Washington. Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband and her Labrador, Maggie. She loves fitness, yoga and hiking the North Vancouver trails.
