i actually liked it here . i didnt have any expectations since it was just another pho place to me and secretly i think most pho in toronto taste all the same . you know, beef broth msg soup . we only came here since we pass by it ALL the time .
when we came in, a cantonese lady seated us and quickly brought us tea & the menu . but unlike most chinese servers, i thought she was honestly the perfect example of how every server should be . she was loud & clear spoken, VERY straight forward, no nonsense yet managing to be very hospitalible . she didnt hover around us yet somehow managed to be there whenever we needed something . i think she may possibly be the most efficient, purposeful server ive ever had at a restaurant . two thumbs up for this nice lady !
food . we werent too hungry so we ordered deep fried wonton and XL spicy satay beef rice noodle pho to share . the wontons were perfect ! the meat stuffing was flavorful and fried to the perfect crispiness . even the wonton wrappers were so yummy . i wonder if they make their own or buy them to fry . as for the pho, XL was HUGE . like HUGEEEE . taste wise, it didnt blow me away but but but BUT it was better than all the other pho ive tried in toronto . i was also expecting thick, dense satay soup like how they do it at pho train, but it wasnt . it was light and liquidy . i liked this soo much better . perfect hint of spiciness too .
my bf lives really close by so im sure this will become our go to place for pho . :) -

Dropped by again for another quick lunch. The services still nice and friendly. The server recognize my face and I only been here 3 times or so..
The pho is as good as I remembered!
The only complain is they don't bring the bean sprouts and other garnish without asking. and they no longer accept credit cards!
