I can remember the first time I went to the Wave Pool, it was one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced. For those of you who haven't experienced the wonder that is the Lois Hancey Wave Pool, it is pretty much the way it sounds. It is a pool where every 15 minutes it cycles between periods of boring stillness and wicked waves. The waves are not very big but they are the closest thing you are going to find to surf within a pretty big margin. As if it were enough for this pool to have a totally awesome wave part, it also has one of the coolest slides in the world. It's been awhile since I've actually ridden the slide but it's a mile of wicked and everyone should try it at least once. I definitely recommend the Wave Pool for kids and adults alike although I suppose I can acquiesce and say that it may be a be more suited for kids, but only a bit.

Agreed. You should check this place out. Kids that like water will love it. They have a beach style entry as well as an enormous hot tub area. My only issue was that the hot tub chlorine levels seemed to be hard on my eyes. However, I realize that the water must be kept bacteria free. Loads of fun....
