I love the word patisserie and must enter any door with the word on or above it. This little gem is located in the Oak Bay section of Victoria on the main drag "Oak Bay Avenue". I love the smell of a bakery in the morning or afternoon or... you get the picture. The cases were full of cakes, pies, cookies, buns, et al. It was hard to decide, but, we bought two little pies, the rum raisin and linzer torte. Both of the pies were EXTRAordinarily sweet, hence the 3 stars but they were delicious all the same. You could really taste the rum in the rum raisin and the raspberry in the linzer was very berrylicious. Both of them were obviously made with butter as the crusts were buttery and flakey. Two pies for $5 is pretty good. I think a good cup of coffee would help cut the sweetness, or, maybe not.
