I don't mind this store, but I think it is super overpriced.
My boyfriend and I went here when we were on search for our boxer's "permanent" collar. We were willing to spend some money on it, especially because the plan was that he would have this one collar for the rest of his life.
I didn't quite expect the "designer" collars for dogs at this store. There were Louis Vitton and D&G just to mention two. If this is the kind of thing you are into, then head down to whyte and visit this store. There is also expensive dog clothing and accessories. Good for the tiny pooches. Not so much for my fat boxer.
I just wanted a plain leather collar. I didn't want to spend $60 on it, so there was no purchase made at this location. Oh well.
Also has a website where you can find ANYTHING for your pampered pooch. -

Even though I myself do not own a dog or cat, I often head into this store on Whyte Avenue for a look because the stock is so interesting. It sells high end clothing for the four legged friends in our lives, as well as gourmet treats and fun toys. I saw a couple of women purchase boots and a cost for their dog, and at another time a man got his pooch a very funny dinosaur outfit for Halloween. Pets are welcome to browse as well, although there is a hilarious sign at the front of the store outlining the consequences if there is an accident (mostly involving a donation to the SPCA). I am not sure how I feel personally about dogs wearing clothes that look better than mine, but Urban Dog is definitely the place to head to spoil your pet rotten.
