What a great shop! They're not skeezy at all, they have a wide selection of stock, and all the staff are professional and knowledgeable. It's decorated well too.
I haven't been to the workshops but I definitely hope to, and I think it's pretty unique that they have classes. -

Without a doubt, The Traveling Tickle Trunk is the best adult shop in the whole city.
When you walk into most adult stores, what do you typically see? Dirty carpet, florescent lights, and rows upon rows of smutty DVDs. Right?
The Travelling Tickle Trunk actually has natural light, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and more than your average product collection. Yup, they've got toys, but they've also got books! Books! Amazing.
The TTT also hosts workshops about every week or two, and they visit the local universities to provide information to new students.

Absolutely fantastic. I wandered in here after a friend of mine got a coupon from a course she took at the university. I was highly impressed, both by the atmosphere and by the quality of the products they sold.
The atmosphere is very welcoming, and above all else you get the vibe that the staff just want you to be well informed. They're extremely friendly and helpful in helping you find what you want (they even talked me out of buying a $50 toy in favor of a $20 one because it seemed to be more what I was after.) The store is very clean and professional looking -- you definitely don't get that grimy feeling that you do in some adult toy stores. They also have a fairly good selection of books and other informational material, and have no issues with you sitting down in their comfy couch and reading through things. They offer many workshops, even workshops on things like how to use/tie rope (which is VERY good for people wanting an introduction to this sort of thing, especially if they have safety concerns.) I have not been to a workshop yet, but would definitely attend one.
I was so impressed with the knowledge and attitude the staff had that I went ahead and threw a sex toy party (for those of you who don't know what it is, it's just like a Tupperware party, but maybe don't bring the kids.) The party was fantastic, and extremely informative (I am usually pretty well-researched, but I learned a LOT of things at the party!) There was a huge emphasis on both fun and safety, which is ideal and can be hard to pull off.
If you're looking for a toy, information, or a little instruction, The Tickle Trunk is definitely the place to go. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a new toy to do research on suitable materials (there's a lot of scary stuff in some of the toys sold elsewhere that you definitely do NOT want to be putting you-know-where), and The Tickle Trunk makes that research easy. -

A class act, is what it is. Nobody's giving you strange stares when you pick up a female sex toy and wonder why it's really shaped like a dagger. A comfortable setting for anybody to enter and not be ashamed to buy S&M stuff that they might want to use. They do have classes, so that nobody ends up strangling their "activity" partner.
A great selection of books on health & sexuality, a small section of DVD rentals including both instructional videos as well as porn. Goodie chests and boxes to store your favorite toys safely from prying roommates. I've heard about the Tickle Trunk party and although it sounds great for women, I think it's a really cool idea!
A top notch collection of lubes, condoms and guy toys (though come on, really? those guy toys just are gross). What stands out though is the clean and non-dingy feel this store has. It's certainly the best adult store I've been to because it actually feels like any other store and not some weird guilt ridden place where people are scared to look into each others eyes.Listed in: Yelpathon, East of the tracks, Look after yourself!

5 stars to the store that promotes "Woohoo!" between adults (yes, that's a Sims 3 reference, and also a quote from Yelp when you assign 5 stars to a business - clever, huh?).
The Traveling Tickle Truck truly is an adult "toy" store, selling interesting sexual products to adults. This is far, far nicer than the trashy "sex stores" you see around the city - it's clean, it's bright, it's colorful, and the products they sell look cool (sometimes it may take you a few seconds to figure out what it is, and what it does)! I've been in there a few times, and the store is inviting, and the staff are both friendly, and knowledgeable about the products, and sexual health. It's a cool addition to "East Whyte," and one I hope stays around for years and years. -

I was introduced to The Traveling Tickle Trunk years ago at a home party, and it was so much fun! After spending over 100 dollars, I ended up having to go to the store to pick up a candle that she had run out of at the party. The store is cute, clean, and modern, and only carries top of the line products.
The staff's attitude is based on health and being educated, which is helpful for first time buyers. -

I was really happy to find a product here that I had previously been purchasing online. It is a pink, disposable sponge as an alternative to other feminine hygiene apparati. The price was comparable. The staff was helpful. The store is clean and very cute. I'll definitely go back to browse when I have more time.

Please note that I have not been inside the store location - I have only attended a tickle trunk party hosted by this business.
A tickle trunk party is an adult toy party where a staff member comes to your house and hosts a party by passing around toys and accessories to guests. At the end of the party, guests fill out order forms and meet in a private area to purchase toys.
What makes this company superior to others is that the Travelling Tickle Trunk brings their stock with them to the party so you get your goodies that evening.
I attended a tickle trunk party at my friends house and it was such a fun experience. The host who came out for the party was the owner of the company and she was so professional. She made the experience so fun and comfortable.
I wanted to host a party for my birthday this year and the owner was really accommodating. In the end, the schedule didn't work and I was unable to host the party (this in no way was a reflection of the company). I ended up having to cancel last minute and she was so understanding and they invited me to call back and host another party. I felt bad but they made sure I didn't feel guilty.
I will definitely be calling them back in the future.
