This is a nice breakfast spot as you head out of town after a long weekend of skiing. The breakfast menu has some pretty amazing items on it. I really enjoyed the veggie eggs benny! The server we had was uber efficient and entertaining. Although I didn't get any drinks, it looks like they made a mean bloddy mary too. The seats fill up fast, so get there early on the weekends,

I always stay in Creekside in Whistler and this is right across the way. I've now been twice and quite enjoy it.
My first experience wasn't as good as the second. I get take out and the first time there they put my poutine and burger in the same container = soggy burger!!!! So I learned and asked for separate containers the second time.
The burgers are yummy! My only complaint is that the sauteed oninos are not sauteed enough to my liking, but maybe that's just me.
I'm sure I'll go a third time next time in Whistler...the cold always makes me want yummy comfort food and this place is great for that. -

Num num num. We had three excellent breakfasts here, so between four people I think we tried about ten dishes. Everything was tasty, from the veggie eggs benedict to the face-sized blueberry pancakes.
Breakfast here was enough to keep me going all day until dinner.
Also, the servers are snarky. I'm a fan. -

We kinda stumbled onto this place for lunch. A typical diner but I was delighted with their food. I had the chicken pot pie; granted, it wasn't exactly a chicken pot pie but more like chicken with lots of fresh vegetables with a filo pastry on top but it was still quite yummy. My husband had the burger and it was divine. Not sure if it's because we were famished but I thought his burger was top notch. Oh, before I forget, I selected salad as a side with my dish and the salad was wonderful with mixed greens, carrots, light vinagrette and pine nuts. Pine Nuts! I loved the salad. I think I might go back for the salad and the burger! Note that there are only about 9-10 tables so not a huge place. We didn't have to wait but we were there a little outside of normal lunch time too. Pricing wise, it is quite moderate for Whistler; we spent about C$32 including tip.
I heard their breakfast is quite awesome; we saw a lot of people ordering breakfast during lunchtime so it must be quite good. -

This place used to be Incredible waaayyy back in the day. Now it's pretty good but I think it's nostalgia that brings me back.
We had a good lunch.
I'll go back -

Great place to go for weekend brunch but they do have a list of rules (#9 - lost children will be given an espresso and a free kitten). Pay attention, staff here are surly, but sweet - a necessity given that the place is jam-packed with people eating and waiting to eat.
When I went in I could've traded my first-born for a fresh cup, I needed one that bad. They brought caesars first which is fine, and I had to ask twice for the coffee but they could definitely be forgiven given how much they were hustling.
Saturday morning I had Huevos Rancheros - eggs all rolled up in tortilla with guacamole, it was great, as were the super crispy potatoes. Sunday morning I came back and (could barely stand I was so hungover but) slid into a booth and felt at home (a couch might've been better). I had Eggs (Benny) Pacifica and it was okay. Sauce needed some spark.
I'd definitely go again. Having a view of the hill ain't half bad and we ran into a pro we'd seen from an Alterna Films snowboard flick. All good....especially those $9 double caesars....worth every penny.Listed in: Get Outta the Tourist Traps…, What Up Whistler?!

I've only ever been here for lunch and maybe dinner. But I've had the same thing each time because the vegetarian options are fairly limited. The veggie burger is okay and the fries are good. I've also had a salad which was also okay. It's a diner and I don't expect them to change.
It's more of a locals place (like the Alpine Grill) and not in my hood. In Whistler distances, I'm uptown and they are downtown and I'm not going downtown for this because I'm not a fan of Creekside. I only go there when I need to go to the city!
Relaxed atmosphere and friendly no nonsense staff. -

Starving after 4 days of hiking and dehydrated food, "the pacific" was the best damn eggs Benedict I'd ever had. Good coffee and service. Didn't like the flavored salt on the potatoes, my only complaint. Will go back next time I go hiking

Excellent fun place, with great prices, fun staff, and of course the food was the best. I had the Belch Breakfast Sandwich and loved every bite! The portions were huge and it held true to its name (belch . . .). Also, the music was perfect!
The side of potatoes were a bit on the dry side, albeit flavored nicely--it may just be a preference thing, but I like mine a bit more moist. Other than that, this is a place I will head back to every time I am here! -

Great lunch/diner in the Creekside area (across from the Husky gas station and Boston Pizza). Good food for reasonable prices - no resort pretentiousness here. The place is on the smaller side, but things move quickly and I've never had to wait long. They have a great Wed special for Roast beef. My group has had success with the chicken pot pie and the French Dip. They also have a great shephard's pie at times in the winter. If you're in Creekside or have access to a car I would definitely make this one of your meal stops.

The only real diner in Whistler, Southside offers your normal fare. From hotcakes to chicken dinners, everyone will be satisfied at the diner that's across the street from Creekside. My friend got a steak there (it may have been a special?) and really enjoyed it. I got the spaghetti and it was fantastic. If it wasn't the fact that I had to take a bus to get there, I would have eaten there often. As it is, it's a great piece of Whistler charm for anyone staying at Creekside hotel.

This Historical diner is always filled with locals and ski bums... just what i like... Few people know that this place was one of only a couple of restaurants back in 70's.. If those old walls could still talk you would hear a few stories... The new diner serves up a real delicious hearty meal breakfast, lunch or dinner... I cant wait to visit everyday next month when I am working on the mtn during the olympics. My first order will be one hearty Belch Sandwich...

The Southside Diner was recommended to me by a volunteer when I was in Whistler for the Olympics in February 2010. I went three times in as many days. There was usually a wait, but the line moved quickly. I had the Beltch Sandwich on sourdough, the house speciality the first day and it was excellent, in fact it was so good I had it again the second day. I had the Huevos Rancheros the third day and it was equally as delicious. Both plates are served with breakfast potatoes, which were pretty good. I also recommend the milk shakes, but don't expect it before your meal.
