Being such a techno geek my consumer choice is always Sony. I know there are other brands out there that are comparable or more bang for your buck but I at least with Sony I have never ever had a problem in the many years that I have had Sony Products.
In the market for an LCD, checked out this store on 4th which is quite huge and has different departments areas with the store of entertainment centres, cameras, players, computers and of course televisions.
The units are displayed very well so you get an idea of the quality that you are paying for because you see and hear it firsthand. Many employees today were milling about helping customers make the right choices. Prices are good, and the parking is free and I know Sony usually has the usual one year warranty.
If you need room to shop then come here, and be well informed about your electronic purchases.
