Good food. Little overpriced. Calamari was worth it. Received a huge quantity. Greek Salad was yummy. Feta cheese tasted like it was out of the freezer. Salad was small for $8. BLT was yummy. Fish and chips was very good. Fish was Alaskan Pollack. Tasted fresh.

This restaurant is located very close to the Falls and is a short walk from the Sheraton on the Falls. I stopped in here in search of buffalo wings, which I hear is expertly made in the area, but didn't find it on the menu. I decided to stay nonetheless since I was short of time.
When I entered the restaurant, I saw a few police officers getting takeout and figured it can't be bad if the city's finest are getting their meals here. I was ignored for a good several minutes before a nice young lady noticed me and gave me a nice seat outside. I opted for the "Canadian Grill" which was grilled tomato, grilled sausage, Canadian bacon, french fries and veggies. The waitress was amenable to my request to skip the fries and double the veggies.
The place got noticeably busier past 1pm, and it took over half an hour for my food to reach me. The waitress apologized -- a large party had arrived, though I thought that was a poor excuse no less.
My food was pretty fun to eat, though nothing special. I was able to get out on time despite the delay, so wasn't too grumpy about the wait.
The price was a bit high, imo. And the decor is pretty standard, though the statues of whimsical ladies dining at a booth kinda creeped me out. -

I visited The Secret Garden with a group of friends during a weekend trip, and we were definitely underwhelmed here. It's nice that it's located so close to the falls, but the waiter was not very friendly and everyone agreed that the portion sizes were *tiny*. I have a very small appetite as it is, and even I finished my entire meal and was still hungry when we left (I had the Giant Shells pasta with caesar salad).
Also, I have to repeat what Joan H. said in her review down below -- those stuffed figures, the two women and the man, placed at one of the tables inside, are totally creepy!
I wouldn't say that The Secret Garden is really bad, but we didn't have a good experience, and I wouldn't recommend it.
