I make a point of stopping by here every time I've got wheels. They might not have the best selection in town, but it's not bad, particularly if you're looking for more popular items.
The prices are outstanding. This is definitely the place to stock up for a party. -

You need liquor? Oh, they've got liquor.
It's not a specialty liquor store. Let's get that clear right off the bat. You're not going to find 100+ kinds of beer or very very rare wines here. You probably won't even find staff that are experts. Sure, they're friendly young'uns who can show you where a particular product is shelved and maybe a bit about it, but that's about it.
But what you will find is a good selection of liquor at very, very good prices. Since you can't buy liquor with your groceries in Canada, I always end up making separate trips, but since this is in the same parking lot as Superstore, it's essentially one trip.

A bottle of Chianti that costs close to $40 in Vancouver for $20? Sign me up. After buying a whole box of different wines, I was satisfied.. happily stocked our wine rack when I got back home to Vancouver.
This store didn't have as big of a selection as the Calgary one, but I was still able to find a whole lot of good CHEAP wines that are not cheap in Vancouver. BLESS YOU SUPERSTORE LIQUOR! -

This is THE place to go get alcohol. You can save so much money, especially if you are buying in large quantities (going camping?having a party?). They have a lot of deals when you buy six or more of one thing.
The selection for white wine is not spectacular, but they have rows and rows of red. They also have a large quantity of beer selection, including their own "presidents choice" brand, which is very similar to many of the competitors.
The staff have always been friendly here and the place can get pretty busy on a Friday afternoon.

This is where I come for my liquor, because it's nice and cheap. Yeah, that's right, I'm a cheap drunk. They've got everything here, a wide selection in domestic and imported beers, coolers, spirits and wines. All for the lowest prices I've seen so far. And it's right beside the Superstore, so you can pick up your groceries and your liquor all in one convenient stop. The staff here are great too, and are always happy to help you with whatever you may need.
