If you like Indian food or want to give it a try then I highly recommend Raja's. The service was very attentive and the food exquisite.

Review from Alan K.
London, ON
I tried this place out of curiosity to see how it would stack up against the other Indian restaurants that are fairly close by. I can say that the service was very polite and the place looks nicely furnished and decorated inside. But the most important aspect (the food) was a little lacking. I started with the vegetable pakora as an appetizer and although it was virtually greaseless (something I definitely appreciate), it was very bland. I then had the chicken jhalfrezie with rice and naan. The naan was nice and the rice was fine. But my chicken was hard and dry and the sauce it came in tasted overcooked. A strange addition to the dish was jalapeno peppers rather than the smaller Indian green chili peppers. The jalapenos gave the dish the heat that it needed but it gave the dish a slightly different flavour that I didn't quite like (to me, it tasted a little strange in an Indian curry). For dessert, I had coconut ice cream/sorbet than came in a coconut shell. It tasted fine but it was forgettable. To be fair though, perhaps I didn't try one of their 'better' dishes as I've had not-so-great food at all the Indian places here in London. With the slightly high prices though, I won't exactly be rushing back to this place.
