Tucked inside the maze of shops and eateries that make up Toronto's PATH system -- running under the bank towers on King Street at Yonge -- The Plaza Dental Centre offers excellent care from talented dentists and hygienists.
I just came from a cleaning and check-up - usually not a pleasant experience -- but my new dentist, Dr. Ilana Gould is friendly and competent and allayed all of my usual fears! She's young, which I think contributes to the quality of her work and precision.
Flat screen TV's broadcasting CNN's latest bad news feed helped distract me from the cleansing process, while Dr. Gould worked efficiently on my pearly whites. She stopped a number of times (probably due to the faces I was making) just to ensure I was surviving and didn't need a break.
I left the office with a big toothy grin and even agreed to make another appointment for 6 months from now.
This clean, bright dental office is easily accessible to downtown workers and right on the subway line. I totally recommend it.
