I like the pint, it's a really great place to come with friends for beers after work. I sometimes find it a little too loud, and busy especially later on Friday nights, but over all it's a great little pub. The food is great and so is the beer. There service is a little slow, but that is probably because I always end up there on the busiest nights! I keep coming back to the pint, so they must be doing something right!

Problem: Large group of diverse people in need of breakfast on a Sunday morning
Solution: The Pint's $10 Hangover Brunch

Seriously - this place was a problem solver. It wasn't out of this world good like brunch at Wildflower would be, but the cost was not that astronomical, either. Our tabs were easy to figure out with the one price structure, there was something for everyone and they had no problems seating a large group immediately.

I got the California Benedict (thank you for not calling it a "Bennie", Pint menu crew) and was satisfied, but not blown away. It was fresh and hot, with some great tater tots. The hollandaise was nicely done and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The tomatoes and avocado were some orange bits and a green coloured sauce, but, I kind of expected that. It was about as good as you might expect a $10 pub breakfast to taste. I'll leave it to you to figure out if you enjoy $10 breakfasts or not. As my husband says:
    "It will make a turd."

Everyone else enjoyed their meals - dishes included another variety of benedict, a corned beef hash, french toast and pancakes of the day which were M&Ms, and absolutely massive.

And if you are really dying for non-breakfast breakfast, you can always order off the regular menu.

Popped in here for Game 1 of the Rangers / Senators series.  Since I had just gotten off my second flight of the day, I was in need of a beer and some hockey.

From what I can gather, this is a newer spot downtown and is pretty popular with the after work crowd.  There were lots of business suits and ties chilling here drinking pints and bsing about.  We nabbed seats at the communal table around the bar in the back and had the full view of two televisions for the hockey game.

Our waitress was very pleasant and quite attentive.  She was able to talk her way through the draft list well but unfortunately, there weren't many cool or regional things that appealed to me.  The IPA was kind of a yawn and so was the wheat beer.  I ended up sticking with Guinness which was moderately priced.

Over the course of the 2.5 periods we watched, we weren't disturbed and our drinks stayed full.  I enjoyed watching the game here and I would recommend it to anyone who likes a social atmosphere to watch sports.

I just had a sobering realization. I'm still drunk.

Having spent a bit of a hiatus from the pint downtown, my return was nothing short of a runaway. But that seems about right considering most people there are in the same boat. It's typically pretty packed with loads of people, drinks, and loose morals.

The bar is pretty centrally located and there's usually enough barkeeps to keep the horde of customers not waiting too long. Music is top 40'ish and decent mix of genres to keep most pretty happy on the dance floor.

I'd definitely recommend it for a fun night out drinking. Although if you're the designated driver, you might want to reconsider and join your crew for the party - I can only imagine the sober ones there would just get annoyed...

In an area with lots of bars pubs etc. there needs to be something that sticks out. The Pint does not have that. Service is sub-par, food is average. The biggest thing for me when I go to a place that has a back bar is that the barkeep needs to know how to make more than five drinks. The Pint, during my visit did not have a person that could make a drink. I just hate that.

I LOVE the patio. It get's the sun from noon to 8pm, perfect for those Sunday fundays. And with decent drink / food specials you can have a blast.
I don't have so much experience with weekend nights. The one time I went there and bought a single drink on my visa, they ended up charging someone else's $100+ meal to it. However, the manager handled things graciously when i returned.
They also have a bus that takes you to the pint on whyte and back free of charge! What a great idea.

Went here for the second time yesterday, and have come to the conclusion: come for the cheap booze, but don't stay for the food.

Seriously, the first time I had the deep-fried oreos and they were nothing to write home about, and this time I had ribs that were so salty I actually felt sick from eating them.

Not to mention, the service sucks (I don't CARE if you're busy, you do NOT just ask only one person at the table if they want something else, and then walk off as the other people start trying to place orders), and they also managed to give us the wrong bill.

That said, both the rocket (people still make rockets? AWESOME!) and the blackberry mojito were delicious.

I'm sure I'll probably go again for a drink, but I strongly doubt I'll touch the food again, unless someone convinces me there is something AMAZING I MUST try here.

It was a Sunday, the caesers were delicious and on special. The service was good and attentive. Our food had huge portions, and at a decent price. Our only problem was that at noon on a Sunday, they wouldn't turn on the volume for any of the football games, instead listening to music when so many people were obviously there to watch football.

I seem to end up here pretty often since one of my besties lives near by and their wing Wednesdays are such a great deal.

A good bar to go to watch the game (if you do that sort of thing) or hang out with friends in the evening but at night I'm not as much of a fan.  On Friday and Saturday nights there is always a huge lineup mostly consisting of drunk 18 year olds. It also gets pretty roudy, attracting the type of people that like to pick fights and throw chairs through windows. At least the place is huge so you can always find another table or area to escape the GTL crowd.

The service also leaves something to be desired,  I have yet to find a decent server that works here. Yet, I keep coming back so it can't be all bad. Anywhere that serves beer and wings is ok in my book.

I have to say that out of all the pubs in Edmonton I like the Pint DT the best. The service is always good even when it's busy, they have a nice patio, the prices are good, the atmosphere is relaxed and if you want to dance on the weekends they have a little dance floor in the corner. The people that come here would probably average out to mid-20's which is nice. The location is great too if you don't want to drive. It's really close to the LRT. I also must say that they consistantly have some of the best looking people gathered in one place. I even had a bite to eat the last time I was there and the pub food is great! I wouldn't say it's the best place for wings, but I would recommend nearly everything else.

The Pint is a Canadian pub that rivals Hudsons and the Canadian Brew House. The interior has a dark, warm feel, and I really dig the ceiling above the bar at this location.

A great location for lunch -- as long as you get good service. Sometimes the kitchen is super backed up. But whenever that happens, management takes care.

The food is great pub grub, and there are some outstanding and delicious healthy alternatives on the menu. My favorite dish here, aside from my old standby Nachos is the Beefshires, which are on special every Monday.

Lots of different beers on top, and a ton of TVs on which to watch just about any sport you can imagine. With a great downtown location, if you haven't tried the Pint yet, you should give it a chance... on weekends, they even open up a dancefloor.

If you're eating there, hopefully you're there on a day when the kitchen has it together.

We came here for lunch and I ordered the PINT burger with fries for $11.
You have a choice between bison, prime rib or chicken for the patty.

The fries were good but the patty was overcooked.

My other friends ordered the slider w/sweet potato fries, blue cheese burger and the deep fried perogies.

Service was a little bit slow even there weren't that many tables.

Definitely a joint for alcohol after work, not food during lunch hour.

I visited The Pint for "Wing Wednesday," which features an amazing assortment of wing flavours at only $3 per batch of 10. Although there are no drink specials featured on Wednesdays, the outstanding food (and can't-beat-it price) makes up for it.

The waitress was slow to take our order, although the place was very busy, and the food did arrive promptly.

I would definitely recommend The Pint for a cheap night out, especially for the younger crowd or those on a budget.

After so many good reviews I had to give this place a try.

If you are a sports fan there is no better bar in the city.  It is huge with tons of seating and TV's everywhere.  They put them at a volume that is not too loud so you can also enjoy the company of your friends and if you are not watching doesn't distract you from your drink or meal.

The service was excellent, we never waited for anything.  Considering we were there and they were packed, I assume we saw them at their worst.

Beer selection was limited, as a snob I was disappointed, but they do have a better selection than most sport bars in town.  Food was average and they have lots of choices.

Value for money is exceptional with a happy hour and weekly specials that really bring the prices down.

I finally made it here to meet up with some friends over the weekend. The place is quite large and loud, but the menu is the focus of attention. IT is huge, with a lot more variety than in other pubs and bars. There is close to a page of wing options alone.

The drinks are reasonably priced, and there seems to be a special almost very day. I had a steak sandwich, and it was made perfectly to order. The other food at our table looked great also, and included fish and chips, wings, and quesadillas.  Some of the items looked very interesting and I hope to try, such as kebabs, a butter chicken bowl, and an appetizer of pieces of beef in mini-Yorkshires.

A huge selection of beers is on tap, and you can get pretty much any other drink you want here too. One of my compantions thought the place was a bit shabby, but I found it to be a pretty normal atmosphere for the kind of establishment it is. There was also a screwup with a food order at our table, as well as with the bill, but all was sorted out in good time.

I definitely plan to go back.

Who knew that The Pint serves brunch on the weekends? I didn't. And I was pleasantly surprised. Their brunch items were quite good.

My friends had the Steak Benedict and they said it was delicious, although I have yet to try that. I've been wanting to, but I can never resist ordering their Stuffed French Toast, which  is always a big hit. It's stuffed with cream cheese, strawberry and banana, drizzled with (maple??) syrup, and topped with a scoop of ice cream. Yum!.. It has now become my new favorite brunch place.

Finally a Wednesday where I drive by The Pint and there isn't a line up ! And for an extra dash of luck there was a parking spot right in front ! Mouth already watering as I hand the bouncer my I.D this place was pretty dead compared to the buzz I've heard about Wednesdays. Grabbed a spot, unfortunately no clean tables but our waitress was by within a minute of us sitting down to clean up and grab drink orders. Surprisingly this was the fastest service I have ever received at a bar like this ( We were in and out of here in 30 minutes).  I was also really impressed with the amount of beer they have on tap, I figured after repeating the huge list of taps I didn't want to bug her about bottles so I just got a pint of domestic ($5) and my partner got an import ($7). Too bad with the cheap wings there were no drink specials but that didn't stop us from having our beer with our wings. With 40 flavors to choose from, which were organized by sauce/dry rub and then further into how hot they were.  We went with 2 mediums, Mongolian BBQ and Sweet Chili.
What felt like 5 minutes our food was already at our table. The Mongolian BBQ smelled amazing. It was packed with flavor and drenched in sauce, and the crispiness of the chicken was perfect. The Sweet Chili was not as flavorful but still pretty good. The price was just right for all this too. 1 domestic, 2 imports and 2 orders of wings for $26 ! I will definitely be returning the food and service was too great to say no!

This weekend I finally checked out The Pint, a cool Brit-inspired pub just a stumble north of Jasper, on the northeast corner of Jasper and 109 Street.

If you are planning a pub-crawl downtown, this is a good one to hit. Like any popular pub on the weekends, expect line-ups or go early and cozy up in a mahogany booth with friend or lover, or both.

If you are with a group or plan to drink a mighty bit of beer, you may opt for the table keg which looks like an old-fashioned gasoline pump that sits on your table and pumps lots and lots of beer!

I like the layout of this bar. There are lots of small areas and alcoves for privacy, or you can sit yourself down in the middle of the action around an oval bar smack in the middle.

Food is pretty good here - classics like nachos and wings with a zillion sauces to choose from are sure bets, and they even have a veggie and humus platter if you want to eat light and save room for beer;)

I love the Pint for many reasons, and Wing Wednesdays is just one of them (the abundance of hot single men is another). It's a nice place with decent food and good beer, but the service leaves something to be desired. Not sure if they're understaffed or just hire girls that can't manage tables well, but it can get difficult to put your order in after that first round. Every time I have gone here my server has disappeared for so long I would forget what she looks like. In spite of the bad service, the Pint remains one of my favorite spots in Edmonton. It's not much for dancing, but a nice place to watch the hockey game. Others agree, as anyone whose seen the lineup outside on any given Friday or Saturday night. So go early, order everything you want all at once, and enjoy!

Have been to The Pint once, and will definitely come back. Loved fast and friendly service; loved the selection of beer and chicken wings; loved the relaxed atmosphere. I came here with the couple of chicken wings enthusiasts on Wednesday when 40 different flavors of chicken wings sell for 30 cents each. We ordered quite a few varieties, and here are the ones I can recommend: Cajun, Sticky Sweet BBQ, Wasabi Sea Salt and Honey Garlic. In fact, most of the flavors we ordered were good, but the abovementioned four were the ones that especially stood out for me.
The Pint can get very noisy during game nights, so if you are not into sports but mostly into chicken wings and beer, choose the night to come here very carefully. Ask around whether there will be any games on tonight, and go from there...

I was back Tuesday night for their $19 Team Platter and $15 pitchers. I went with 2 other friends, and this was an winning combination for the night (too bad it wasn't so for the Oilers). We were able to watch the game with all of the speakers and TVs focusing on the game. It was not hard to find a table, and the waitress came immediately. The pitcher came within 5 minutes of ordering and the platter followed no more than 10 minutes afterward.

It was a bit difficult to talk with my friends however, as the volume was set really high for hockey game. This made is difficult to communicate although it was not a loose-your-voice-shouting scenario. Its a different experience to watch a hockey game with a full crowd of people, and it makes the experience more lively and involving.

The only other problem I had was the amount of time it took to receive the bill and wait for payment processing. This may have been attributed to by hockey game ending and everyone wanting to leave at the same time. Regardless, my friends and I already planning on going down again soon!

Before this was the Pint it was the Fox. The Fox was a dump so I wasn't expecting anything more from this place.

This place is  much better than its predecessor. It is a pretty classy place and very relaxing. They have a good selection of beer on tap and they have play the game on all the TV's and speakers. It is perfect for game night. The service is fast and friendly. They had a huge selection of wings too, but I went with the hot. I will definitely come back to try some others.

The pint is a good place to go for drinks, some food and especially to catch a hockey game.

I went here today with my mom for lunch. We got there a little after 11 and were the only ones in the building except people who worked there. The place seemed really clean, which is always good.

The service was quite good. I was impressed. I figured for an afternoon at a pub downtown that a good server might be hard to find. But here they are-- at the pint!

I ordered their tzatziki wrap with soup (I am eating healthy, and this was not the place to go to for that but I made it work). The wrap was awesome, very filling, but the soup was terrible. It was a cream of tomato and it tasted like Campbell's tomato soup mixed with sour milk.. yuck!

The waitress offered me something else, but I was full and declined. She took the soup right off the bill without a word.

The food was pretty decent and the service was good, and as we were leaving, a whole bunch of business men and women started piling in.

I guess this is the place to go for an afternoon lunch?

I would recommend this place to anyone NOT worried about their calorie intake. I HAD to try one of my mom's fries and mm mm they were good!

This place is awesome. They Have deals everyday of the week.  They have almost fifty delicious kinds of wings and they are huge wings for bar wings.  If you are a beer drinker you should get a table keg - it is 4L of beer for thirty bucks in a really sweet pitcher that has a tap on it.  I've gone there a bunch of times and now some of the waitresses will say hi to me and if they aren't busy will even sit down and talk for a minute or two.

If you are ever in the area you should stop for lunch, supper, late at night or even a 10$ hangover brunch on Saturday or Sunday

I've been here 3 times already.  It's about a 15-20 minute walk from where I live or 8 mins with a combo of bus and walking and hop skip and a jump from the LRT.  So for me it's in a pretty good location.  They're known for their gallons of beer to share amongst friends, unless you're of course a raving alcoholic.  LOL  I've also ordered their wings.  That was my disappointment because I am usually a fan of large plump wings.  They have a plethora of flavours to choose from but the size of the wings bugged me.

It has a pretty good environment with the after work crowd.  In the evening it's a pretty mature crowd with a mix of late 20s to 30s crowd and there is a small dance floor at the back of the club.  I'd go back in an instant.

We stopped by The Pint after going to the Oiler's game last week (we won! yay!) and really enjoyed it. They have a great selection of beers on tap and a really fun menu. They have 43 flavours of wings, yeah baby. Anyway, we asked for a recommendation on the menu and "Deep Fried Pickles" was the choice. My friends were not interested but I went for it and they were fantastic... even though I only got to eat one because they all dug in. It's a classy, comfy and fun place to go. Looking forward to going back.

I had won a $50 tab for the Pint from Sonic 102.9 recently for a Puck Party. I wasn't expecting much except for free food and big screen TV's. I was thoroughly impressed by not only the food, but also the service, the English Pub-esque decor, and the overall vibe of the Pint and the host djs that night. It has to be said that I was not expecting to be won over by the Pint that night. I am not a hockey fan,  I am not a fan of beer and I do not typically frequent pubs. I knew my husband would be won over but now I can say I too am a fan. We went on a Monday night with another couple and inevitably ordered everything on special that night. $4 boots - AMAZING and thoroughly enjoyed by us ladies. $4 Newcastles - The men seemed to thoroughly enjoy them so I'm sure there were no complaints in that department. $4 Beef Shires - FANTASTIC. $4 off Burgers - great price and overall really good. Overall we are definately planning to go back as we noticed other appetizing specials on our way out.
