History

Established in 1994

Initially founded with a focus on graphic design and layout, PawPrint quickly shifted focus to web design during the first year of operation. One of the first web design providers in British Columbia, PawPrint began to revolutionize the potential of web sites with the XDe a content management system that pre-dates almost all others currently available and yet remains one of the most flexible and feature-rich platforms available.

Today PawPrint continues to enhance and expand the XDe following the ever-changing face of the web. Using HTML5 video, CSS, modern Javascript libraries and Ajax to make web sites that remain future proof through our free automatic update system.

We continue to work to empower our customers to manage the content and interactions on their own web sites themselves in a easy and effective way.

Meet the Business Owner: Scott B.

Scott Baker B.A.Sc.  has consulted for telecommunications companies across North America as a specialist in data network design and fibre-optic communications systems. Scott was born in Ontario, Canada, in 1973 and graduated from the Electrical Engineering programme at the University of British Columbia in 1995 with a speciality in communications. He is a self taught programmer and has been designing web sites since 1992 - just after the Netscape browser had first been released. Scott is the Past President of the Gold Award Society of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award BC and Yukon and was a regional trainer for the the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary - Pacific.
