I have a long history of poor service and/or food in restaurants.
This was hands-down the best meal my girlfriend and I have had for a long time. Irish food beer and top notch service.
I had the ham and cabbage meal and it was un-freakin-believable. My girlfriend had the curry chicken with peas and fries and it was just as excellent.
Be back soon. Keep up the good work! -

I hate to say it, but the Old Triangle in PEI is better than the Old Triangle in Nova Scotia. It never occurred to me that their menus might be different, but they are! Although the Halifax location still serves up a tasty meal, I have to give the upper hand to the C-Town location. The crowd I was with ordered an assortment of burgers, sandwiches, and beer, and no one left the table disappointed. Definitely a thumbs up on this one.

Lunch there recently, very impresses, inside is dark with neat booths and there is a nice deck which we ate on, i had the fish special (excellent) , wife had steak salad which was great, lot of steak for the price, very nice!!

Food is great and the atmosphere is really nice. The live music is really great and fitting for the place. I've had the lamb shank, which I'm not sure is still offered, but it was so delicious and the club with fries ( the fries are coated in spice I think steak spice and are really great). Great place to grab a beer as they have a pretty good selection.

Me and the wife went in for some later night entertainment and what a pleasant surprise. First a guy greeted us with a great smile and a welcome beyond means (thanks Johnny or Joey) forget the name but will remember the face. What a great atmosphere (the doorman was right). When we come back to visit our family we will be back.

Good food, nice feel, decent prices. Dinner ranging anywhere from $11 for bangers and mash to $25 for steak. Worthy choice for a good dinner with the family.

First time to PEI and I went during the off season for business reasons.
I had asked about decent local restaurants in the area and some folks in the office believed this is the best local dining around during off season.
I had the fish and chips plate which was very good. The french fries are made to order and are seasoned with herbs (I'm guessing basil, oregeno and sea salt). The cole slaw is an oil based slaw which was so fresh I would have to say it was also made to order. It's a very light slaw compared to the mayo based slaws you normally find.
They offer a good selection of beer on tap and have an area for bands to play. I understand they have open mic on Sundays and you can often hear traditional Irish music here.
The waitstaff was very courteous and attentive and it was very clean. There is a section that has private seating for a more cozy feel. The seats in that section look like booths with full backs that connect to the ceiling. -

i really enjoyed the food; i had a mediterrean veggie sandwich and hubby had a hamburger; they were yummy; it was 3 pm in the afternoon and the waitress was busy with the folks on the deck but that was ok; we ate inside; i'd go again;

Great fish, great Irish food. Excellent jam music scene happening (Irish) on Sunday afternoons. Went here twice while visiting for a week. Very happy with service and food here. Keep up the good work and keep those local musicians playing!
