Came here with a group of ~10 on a Monday night, so the place was empty. Service was good. Food arrived fast. Our orders went in a few different shifts because people arrived at different times. One member of our group had a severe peanut allergy, so the kitchen staff checked the ingredients lists on all the sauces and everything. So props to them for that!
I ordered the swiss and mushroom hamburger at $14. It came with a choice of side salad, fries, or soup. I chose the salad, and got the dressing on the side after reading about over-dressed salads here. The burger was very tasty, with a thick patty and lots of mushrooms. The salad was good too, I especially liked the peashoots garnish.
One friend had a side of fries, which was an enormous portion. They call them 'truffle fries' which I don't know how they're supposed to taste, but they were tasty. Another friend had a side of soup and said it was too salty. Overall, I didn't hear any other complaints about the food.
The drinks had office-themed names. One friend ordered the sexy assistant (or something like that), which tasted like grape jello, yum!
I would rate this place on the same level as Milestones or Earls. They're certainly similar price-wise and ambiance-wise. -

I can't say anything about the food or drinks; we weren't served at all. We came in and sat down, waited about ten minutes without service, and walked out.
If you don't look like you belong there, I guess you don't deserve to be acknowledged. I won't be back. -

While their lunch special is a good deal for a sitdown place (soup, salad, and a half a sandwich for 10 bucks) , my salad was rendered inedible by an overabundance of heavily salted dressing. The sandwich was a bit greasy for my tastes, but the soup was pretty decent.
The space itself is well designed (chic, urban) and the bar offers a number of fantastic local beers on tap (Salt Spring Ale, Driftwood, seasonal Phillips). -

These stars are all for the food. Very cool atmosphere (I'm a sucker for local art on the walls) but the service is so-so. Maybe we weren't the usual clientele?
We ordered the generic lunch fair- one of us had a wrap, the other had a sandwich. We ended up switching halves because they were both so good!! Very flavorful! My favorite were the french fries- I'm not sure if it was the fries themselves or the ketchup, but one of them tasted a whole lot like vinegar (which I LOVED!).
We didn't end up buying drinks, but they were named really cool things. Would love to go back for a weekend and see the scene. -

We had dinner for four.
Very cool atmosphere.
Service was excellent.
Soups were especially well done. Also we liked the way salad was done where you could select from categories and build a salad. -

Despite being close to two movie theatres, this restaurant has no concept of time. We've been there twice, each time mentioning we had a deadline, and were assured of quick service from the kitchen. Waits of 40 minutes ensued and then the burger was burned. We won't be going there again.
