Went for food, drinks and hockey. Food was great, 3 of us had the burger, tender and flavorful - we we're happy carnivores. The beef dip also scores high with caramelized onions. Beer was cheap = $3 sleeves. Service was fast and friendly. Decent TV viewing, there's also pinball and a pool table.
Later the 2 level pub turned into a nightclub - it got awkward. People showing up ready to party, bump and grind while we attempted conversation over the boom boom tunes. The music was a top 40 hip hop mash-up. Once the club atmosphere kicks in there is a boost in security, they patrol and check I.D.
I'm a fan of the great food and cheap beer. But the club scene isn't my scene. -

I've been a few times for dinner and it's always better than comparable pubs.Other Highlights include various DJ's, live music and insanely cheap drink specials every night! Good place to pre drink before heading downtown, or for just seeing all your friends at once!
