From the suspender clad gentleman wielding the scissors to the shoe shine service to the right as you walk in, it's almost surreal what a blast from the past this place is. In a completely good way. All walks of life, ages come thru the door for the haircut to the shave and shoeshine.
The place advertises itself as the oldest operating barber shop in Toronto since 1929, by proprietor Armando Costentino. I don't think it's a stretch to say they know what they're doing here, and they didn't appreciate my two cents on how to cut my mans' hair. I shut up, they did a magnificent job. Enough said. -
