Review from Roanna Z.
This time I let the 'boyz' wander the dampened trail while I sat inside the cafe, warmed by a fire place, enjoying my siphoned coffee, listening to Buddha Bar and staring up at the marvelous woodwork and window-walled view of the forest outside. It was like a day dream in there. The light rain had scared the crowd away and I shared the place with only a few. I felt like I was in a cabin in the mountains.
I friggen love this place.
When I left, I felt as though I'd been to a spa, all relaxed I was.Listed in: Connect the dots on a coffee…, North shore businesses and…, It's raining... get inside…

Review from He and She I.
We were very pleasantly surprised by this little gem. A very decent house red complimented the smoked salmon crepe, which was fluffy and loaded with meat. He had fish and chips and a cold beer.

I had a crepe with (too much) Nutella and a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and it was by far the best vanilla ice cream I've ever had. Definitely recommend it to vanilla lovers!

Nice little café tucked in Lynn Canyon, just before the trails that lead to the suspension bridge. With its high wooden columns, angled and pointing towards the sky, and the floor-to-ceiling windows, the feel is very organic, letting its natural setting play a role in the store's interior design.
The menu is standard: burgers, fries and hot dogs for lunch. There's a gelato bar on the side as well as some desserts by way of pie, cookies and cake. The dinner menu is more extensive and is comprised of a number of chicken dishes (chicken teriyaki, chicken schnitzel and a southern fried variety). They also have a seafood section and offer a couple of different kinds of roasts. I can't attest to the quality of those last dishes but the burgers I had were fine. They have a vege option on top of the other meat patties. All come with the standard lettuce, picked tomato toppings with cheese, naturally, costing bit extra. Fries were nice. Good level of greasiness (hmm... grease) and moderate sprinkling of salt.
Good place to tuck in and wait the rain out. -
Review from Jane K.

Worst breakfast ever with burnt omelette one puny warmed up slice of stale bread, alongside a dozen underdone frozen French fries all along with coffee in a paper cup, squished in beside the ketchup squirter at the condiment corner. I live a few houses away, used to love this place, but won't be back any time soon.
