Holy Moly!
I ran in here today for a quick bite to go before a long bus ride, grabbing their yam wrap. IT WAS FRICKING AAAMZAZING. I almost called them to just gush about it right after. As a vegetarian, sometimes you just have to be satisfied with whatever veggie choice there is, not always expecting to be blown away by something new (especially not at a strictly veg place) but this wrap was blowing my mind.... yams, totally delicious walnuts and salad and feta cheeese... the combo was just perfection.
The cafe was totally cute too, so next time I'll have to try to have a reason to stay. -

From the outside, it may look like another hole in the wall take-out place, but once you get inside, you realize it's so much more. I wish I wasn't on my lunch break when I visited, because the decor is adorable and I'd have loved to stay to enjoy it. The Lunch Kit offers a wide range of hot sandwiches, deli sandwiches, wraps, and home made soups, as well as some delicious looking pastries. I choose to have their $13 sack lunch with a roasted yam and feta wrap (huge and to die for), a garden salad (served in a one-pint ice cream container with veggies, dried fruit, and an awesome citrus dressing), an apple, and a bottle of juice. I ordered everything to go and when it came time to pay, their debit machine was down and I thought we were heading towards a frustrating situation. Instead, they offered to write me an IOU to pay later and sent me on my way with lunch in hand! I couldn't believe it! This small space has a lot to offer every taste and I wish them the best. I'll be telling everyone I know that there's a fabulous new lunch spot in town!
