Review from Inga K.
I can hardly believe I would be the first reviewer on this place.
Absolutely fantastic experiences ordering catering from these folks. Not cheap, but impressive for clients and a really great selection. Above the quality of the food however is the accuracy and reliability of the order.
If you have a board room full of grumpy people to feed, the Lazy Gourmet will do the job.
Their baked goods, which of course is always my main focus are the bomb. Apply directly to ass of course, but so worth it. -

You took the words right out of my mouth. We bought on Groupon..only to see e qualified for a 'special ' menu for groupon users consisting of 'macaroni and cheese' or 'meatballs' choose from a total of six items...WAY overpriced or price 'inflated' to cover their losses from those 'Groupon' people..
ex. 12- 3/4 " 'risotto balls' (basically)rice and flour for 31$ plus tax..that is near 3$ per bite. An unbelievable ripoff. And we were considering having them cater a business meeting. Jesus. -

I got a groupon for Gourmet to go. I was seriously disappointed.
I used it to buy the hawaiian meatballs, chicken bites and mushroom risotto balls. While everything tasted ok, which hardly justifies the name or the price, the real kicker was how small the portions were.
The best thing about the whole experience was reading the descriptions of what was available. -

Same goes for me! Groupon. We ordered the Meatballs, Mac & Cheese, and the Lasagna. Everything tasted only ok, NOT Gourmet! The meatballs were small, not many of them and were tough as hell. Last night we made the Lasagna and it's all ground beef, some noodles and cheese. It tasted what you'd expect a microwavable tv dinner lasagna to taste like. Still have the Mac and cheese to try! Basically it's overpriced food advertised as Gourmet, which it's not.
