Review from Nick B.

Last Sunday I set out on a little motorcycle cruise, and found myself hungry and coming into Chester. I remember seeing the Kiwi Cafe and thinking it was a catchy name and looked like a nice place, so I decided to stop there for brunch.
I'll admit, I was a little annoyed at how long it took before someone came to take my order, but to be fair, they were busy, and I sort of just snuck in I think - so I'll let that go.
The Kiwi Cafe offers a menu that's just about the right size - lots of options, but not overwhelming at the same time. Feeling decadent I opted for Eggs Benedict with lobster, and wasn't disappointed at all. Neither, from what I could tell, were the large group sitting behind me (who were from Texas, at least some of them), or anyone else. In fact, I don't think I've ever noticed so much chatter in a restaurant about how much people are enjoying themselves.
Apart from the food, they have great coffee, and a large selection of baked goods and some other culinary goodies - spice mixes, snacks, all sorts of stuff - to the point that I lamented having no room in my saddlebags for anything else.
Given how much I like the Lighthouse Route, I have a feeling I'm going to wind up something of a regular (as much as is possible for someone who doesn't live in Chester, anyhow). -
Review from Jill M.
I spend a bit of time in Chester, but until last weekend I'd never had a chance to check out The Kiwi Cafe. And was I ever missing out! I had two delightful experiences. On Saturday I sampled a few baked goods, and their squares and brownies were to die for. But the Sunday brunch was what made me a true fan. My pear, arugula and brie sandwich was absolutely to die for. The orange raising bread it was on was fresh and delicious, and it had just the right amount of pear and brie to fill me up without falling apart and being impossible to eat.
The menu offered a lot of tasty-sounding options, and there's a lovely outdoor eating area that I can't wait to enjoy. Inside, the atmosphere is bright, cheery and kid-friendly. This is a must if you're in the area, whether you're looking for a meal or simply a delicious cup of coffee and brownie.Listed in: Munch on Brunch

The Kiwi Cafe is located in downtown Chester. It is a small restaurant with great appeal.
When you walk in you will be taken back with the bright colors of green and orange and blue. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. It is a great place to sit and have a coffee with one of the best brownies we have tasted. We like to hot chocolate as well.
All the food is homemade with daily specials. There is an outside patio for the summer.
Take a gander at the board where you will find different events they hold at the restaurant.
I am quite sure that the owner has something on the menu that you will like and the staff is excellent. -

This is one of my all time Chester favorites!
I love that they have great home cooked organic, healthy options.
Lynda is such a sweetheart, and everyone who works there is great.
The deserts are to die for and all the other products they provide are so handy to have available.
I love being able to come home to the kiwi, and have a great meal every time!
