Review from Jen S.
If you have only one night in Quebec City, let this be where you spend it. It's free and there's nothing like it.
The Image Mill is a projection show set against the grain silos of the Quebec Harbor. In 2010 at least, the show tells the story of Quebec City's history through moving images and music; it's captivating and impressive, something I would pay a lot to see, but didn't have to because, like I said, it's free.
In 2008, artist Robert Lepage created the show for the city's 400th anniversary. Its popularity prompted the city to extend the series until 2013.
It's unclear based on the website whether there are any more shows in 2010, but you'll surely be able to see it during the summers of 2011-13. It starts between 9 and 10 p.m., depending on the month and lasts for about a half hour.
People watch the show from the grass near where Rue Rioux meets Quai Stain-Andre.
