I've just stopped in here to get my bangs trimmed a few times. The stylists have always been nice - asking me if I'm going to school and what the weather is like. Small talk, but nice enough.
The bangs weren't bad - a little uneven, but she brushed the hair off my face when she was done, and it was pretty inexpensive. I might come back for a trim. The nice thing about this salon is that it's not usually too busy (maybe should have been my first sign?) so you can usually just walk in. -

Frankly, the name of this hair salon scares me. Something about it sounds deadly, and I can see Johnny Depp as Sweeney Todd brandishing a razor over my head.
I didn't personally go here myself, but I witnessed firsthand the results of someone who did. My boyfriend used to live at HUB mall when he was a student, and decided to get his hair cut at Hot Razor (shudder) one day, because it was conveniently located in the mall, and it charges cheap rates for students.
Let's just say he wasn't too happy with the results, and never went back there again. He's very particular with how he wants his hair, and told the stylist how he wanted it. The stylist just nodded and went to work, quite carelessly I might add, because in the end my boyfriend's hair was uneven. And he had a little hole on one side of his head.
While they probably have different stylists working there now, I wouldn't take my chances. A hair cut is a pretty big deal, and you should be careful with where you choose to get it cut. Sure, it's cheap here, but keep in mind you'll be taking a risk.
