History

Established in 2005

The Heights Laser Centre was established in 2005 by Dr. Perhez Jaffer (Family Physician) and Dr. Femida Kherani (Ophthalmologist). The Centre has grown from providing laser hair removal, injectables (Vancouver Botox and Vancouver Juvederm) and IPL photorejuvenation, to providing fractional skin resurfacing (eMatrix) and cellulite reduction with circumferential fat reduction (Velashape II).  We continue to provided free consultations including those for eyelid lifts.

Meet the Business Owner: Perhez J.

Dr. Perhez Jaffer completed his medical training at the University of British Columbia and subsequently completed a Rotating Internship at the Regina General Hospital. He is licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia and he is a member of the CMA and BCMA.  He is a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery. He is recognized as an expert injector of Botox (R) and Juvederm (R) by Allergan. Dr. Femida Kherani completed her Medical School and Surgical Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Alberta. During medical school, Dr. Kherani spent a year abroad at Oxford University studying Humanism of Medicine.She subsequently completed a Fellowship in Oculofacial Plastic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic Reconstructive Surgery.
