This place has a great lunch buffet for $10.99. They have changing daily themes that provides, bread, 4 cold dishes, soup, 4 hot dishes and mini desserts. Mon - Ukranian, Wed - Italian and Fri - Asian with Tues/Thurs being chef's choice. I've had lunch from their regular meal and found it to be decent but nothing memorable. For the price and the (surprising) quality of food, I don't think you can beat a lunch buffet like this in the downtown lunch establishments. I tried their Wednesday Italian theme and there were: deli meats, mixed green salad with ham and balsamic vinegar, veggie pasta salad, minestrone soup, grilled veggies, Italian sausages in a tomato sauce, chicken penne in an alfredo sauce, pork picatta, banana pudding, cheesecake and some other mini desserts. Everything was nicely seasoned and wasn't overly greasy. I like that the desserts are in small portions so you don't waste too much and can have the choice of selecting more to eat if you wish.
The buffet area is set up in the lounge portion of the restaurant, leaving ample room in the main dining area. Service is nice and fairly efficient. You can easily do a quick lunch here and be on your way!
I had only heard of the lunch buffet through word of mouth from co-workers. I think management should advertise the lunch buffet more - there's no mention of this lunch buffet online or on the menu in the restaurant. Heck, even the server who led us to our table didn't mention the buffet when they were seating us. The place has diners but I think they can definitely fill up with more diners if more people knew about it!Listed in: Great Casual Downtown Lunch…
