The Groove Kitchen is a truly unique type of place in Cambridge. After having only been previously to see a band and have a few drinks I had never given it a shot for dinner. After a recent Groupon deal I was enticed to give it a shot and was I ever surprised.
I ordered the Sweet Home Alabama, the pork shoulder with BBQ sauce and sweet potato pancakes. Wow was it ever good. Their whole menu was lined with unique fare that is such a rarity to see on a Cambridge menu.
The restaurant itself is reasonably small and a little rough around the edges, but definitely has it's own charms. All the menu items are named after songs or musical artists and the menu itself is housed in an old LP cover. -
