3.5 stars, but I would give it 4 stars if it hadn't been for my experience today.
A nice restaurant located within the golf course. It's a good place for casual dining. The space is wide open, with windows all around, allowing lots of natural light to come in.
Their menu has lots of choices, with some unique dishes as well. Lemon garlic prawns, steak bites, Montreal smoked meat sandwich, salads, burgers....They use free range poultry and fresh sustainable harvested seafood.
Today I dined on the patio which is essentially situated right inside the gold course. Beautiful landscaping and sunny skies proved this location to be an excellent getaway for a lunch.
I got the seafood melt with snow crab, baby shrimp, blend of cheeses, on a toasted french loaf. This was very good. Lots of crab and shrimp, baked with cheese. I took a couple of bites and then saw a strand of hair within the crab/shrimp mix! I notified the waiter, and he gladly offered me another one.I opted for a salmon burger instead. It arrived quickly, and so I started eating it, wary of what was inside. As I took another bite, there is was, another hair, within the fish!!!!
I let the server know again, he was very sorry. I manged to eat the other half of the burger that didn't have the hair in it.
So, the server then offered that our whole table's meal be taken care of, which was a nice gesture. An extra star goes to good customer service.
Will I be back? Considering the atmosphere and the prices and the quality of food here (minus the hair), I will be back soon, hopefully with no extra ingredients in my food!
