This place is great! The bartenders are very nice, informative and helpful. We went on a day where they had a live band and they were pretty good.

I had their recycle bin.. frickin phenomenal. It is basically an AMF served inside of a pitcher and a Monster poured into it. It is STRONG! For 8 bucks, not a bad deal. My girlfriend and I each had one and I finished mine quick. I looked around and noticed that people were sharing that... woops.

HAHA it got me buzz/drunk quick and for some reason I wanted another one...

    Excited to be back

Great place if you want to get in a fight. Was witness to some messed up stuff by their overly confident security staff. A bouncer followed a guy into the bathroom trying his hardest to pee before leaving. The bouncer kept pushing him and trying to get him to fight saying "PLEASE HIT ME" over and over. The drunk guy was in no way trying to fight. Told the guy they said was managing that their bouncer was starting fights in the bathroom and this douche said "oh, he doesn't start fights, he finishes them". Be careful if ya go to a place like this, too many loose cannons and bar staff that think they are gods gift to the service industry. Only way I will chance getting jumped by their staff is if they ever have a good show. Not likely.

I admit... I like going here to ogle the bartenders. Whomever does the hiring, RIGHT ON. They have some smokin' ladies that work behind the bar. Very friendly, too.

Fantastic beer selection, staff is very knowledgeable about them (especially the bloke with the ponytail). Strong drinks :-)

The joint is spacious and hosts an assortment of entertainment.

A lot of college kids frequent this place. At times, it's a bit like a frat party. Whatever, though. I usually find myself wanting to go during the day to sit down with a pint and some baseball on the TV.

My only complaint: Seating. I'm not a shortass by any means and the bar chairs are a pain to get down from and back on. That's during the day. Night time, they bar chairs are gone and there are only a few tables with stools. You'll likely find yourself standing on a busy night.

If it werent for the bouncer trying to get in my date's pants, I wouldve given this place 5 stars.

Decided to try The Green Room as a change of pace to Collins. I suggest going with the Stone Smoked Porter on tap- its pretty much Guinness's hotter older sister.

Perfect spot to end the night with a few drinks. I wish I couldve seen how it is on the weekend ( I went in on a thursday).

    Enjoy!

One of my favorite hangouts in Flagstaff.  The stage is big which is great.  This place also get's a lot of good national acts.  The drinks are well priced and the sound is nice.

Another great thing is it's open early.  Drinks are cheap in the afternoon.  They also have darts, pool, video golf and most other fun bar games.  Oh yeah, did I mention the best bloody mary in Flag?  The bartenders are great.  What else is there to say?

I like The Green Room for the most part. However, my favorite times to be here are during the day, or early on, when I can sit down and enjoy their $1 margarita specials, or something of the like. One of the best times I had there (and I've seen multiple shows) was actually when they were doing construction and had super deals, and no one was in the building except a few guys. Their 25 cent drink night, Ladies 80s, is not the best deal in town, but at least it exists from 8 to 10 on Wednesdays. 2 dollar U-Call its occur for ONE HALF HOUR after the 25 cent special ends, which is quite a scramble as you can imagine. However, it might be a better idea for them to push that special back a bit, but I guess the business is trying to make money. However, if you've got money to spend, their selection is pretty good for a casual bar.
The shows they have are great and the prices until more recently when bigger names have come in, have always been very reasonable. I saw the Polish Ambassador, a very intimate VibeSquaD show, and most recently Michal Menert of Pretty Lights Productions. Most of the time you get to chat with the artists, so it's a pretty unique experience usually. However, on the most exciting nights, when there are bigger names in the building, the place is usually a high traffic cop zone, which no one likes. I understand that sometimes things get out of hand, but often on high traffic nights, the bouncers get a little pushy and rude. One night when I had too much to drink (according to the bouncer...I "stumbled") My undersized beer in a plastic cup (which was charged to me at normal prices...some sort of "special" ploy) was forced out of my hand before I was turned out onto the street, and I wasn't allowed to signal to my friends inside that I had been kicked out.
On the whole, most of the bartenders are really nice people, very talented, and very good looking. Also, their facebook page is very well managed and they give away tickets and drinks often.

Dive type bar in Flagstaff. The best night is Wednesday Ladies 80s nights Drinks are $0.25 from 8pm-10pm (I think). It gets packed on Wednesdays but it's fun to be around a ton of 80s music, loving locals getting drunk with you! Not much seating though. Maybe 5 bar tables total to sit at. There's Foosball and pool. Decent amount of standing room at the bar too. The bartenders aren't the friendliest. Wear 80s style clothing on Wednesday nights and get in without paying the $2 cover!

I always hear great things about the Green Room.  People rant on about Ladies 80's, jello shots, live bands, etc.  It sounds like a ton of fun every time.  Sadly, the times that I have gone to the Green Room have been a letdown.  Boring, if not straight out gross, drinks... bad service... annoying patrons... odd smell... getting shoved from all directions by random strangers... "live," if you could call it that, techno music...

I am sure I will get roped into going back to the Green Room, but I certainly do not look forward to it.

Big dance floor, big stage, big bar and big bouncers.

We rolled here for New Year's Eve for a few drinks.  There was a great ska band playing.  This more closely resembles a live music concert hall - though much smaller- than it does a bar.

The door guys were cool, the bar staff was nice and the people there were really diverse.  I assume there would be way more college students there if it were not winter break.

Don't half step.  Drinks here are not nearly as cheap as the other places in Flagstaff that we went to.

this place is neat, the bartenders are really friendly and this hilarious guy was the one man band with some sort of homemade pipe instrument that had synthesizers attached to it, tons of hilarious funk people on the dance floor sort of  a vw bus crowd from the 60's.

My absolute FAVORITE bar in Flagstaff. Home of Ladies 80's. Enough said. It's grungy, crowded, and yeah, people get crazy. All of this equates to a good time in my book! Go here on Wednesday in your 80's finest to avoid the cover, and from 8:00 to 10:00 drink your face off. (25 cent drinks, 50 cents for doubles.) After their drink special ends, go to the Joint. It's sketchy, but their drink special goes from 10:00pm to midnight for 25 cents. Basically, you can drink dirt-cheap for 4 hours.

This place could be good, and I think they're working on it.  Kind of a dive bar, which I like.  Sometimes good live music.  Other times not so good.   (Last time I was there some DJ was playing something that sounded like they took a microphone and recorded it falling down stairs, perhaps that was the point, I don't always get art).  I also like the beer selection, and it's pretty cheap.  My biggest issue with this place is the consistent smell of foul body odor, which you might not notice if you drink enough.  I don' t think it's management's fault for the hygiene of the customers, but I would support a campaign for the awareness of showers and deodorant.  Oh, and haven't been there in a few weeks but seriously, consider a new door staff.  These guys are going to cause more problems than they resolve.

This was my favorite place to go dancing when I lived in Flagstaff. Ladies 80s nite is where it is at. I have yet to find an 80s nite in the Bay Area that compares. (A friend and I went to one in Oakland once only to find no one dancing... wtf!?) I'm sad that I moved away before the Electric Kindgom nights started happening... because that is so my kind of music, but maybe someday I'll be lucky to be visiting on a night when that is happening.
