    They infuse their own vodka!!!!

Let me say that slower: They... Infuse... Their... Own... Vodka. It's amazing.

Bacon vodka? Hell yes. The perfect appetizer!

Chipotle Pepper Vodka? In a ceasar, dinner is done.

Jelly Bean Vodka and Vanilla Vodka? The most delicious desserts!

Espresso Vodka? An after dinner treat and the easiest way to Irish up that Martini

I am hooked. They have a great drink menu, an awesome selection of craft beer and guess what? The food is good!

On Wednesday they have $0.35 wings; we needed a lot to soak up all that vodka. I highly recommend the Szechuan (kinda of like an amazing Teriyaki), the sweet heat and the sea salt & lime. The dry ribs are also delicious. What a find!

The Great Bear is totally worth checking out. Very impressed with everything!

ABYSMAL!!!!  The service was ATROCIOUS!!!!!!!!   On a $60.13 bill we left exactly that.  It was Sunday late afternoon/evening and a friend and I were there for snacks and a few drinks.  After being ignored for about 10 minutes, the waitress sauntered over and took our drink order only after numerous attempts to get her attention.  Drinks took another long time to arrive.,  2 Caesars - I think they went to Rome to get them.  The prawn gyozas tasted like an expired package from Safeway, and my friend's quesadilla could not have been more bland.  Twice we had to go up to the bar and order our own drinks.    Judging from some of the other comments here, it is not the first time.   How this place stays in business is beyond me.  They should be ashamed.

I had a burger here last night, and it was just average The beef patty was pretty small, and the bun did not seem very fresh. The service was good, we had a attentive waitress that made sure we had everything we needed. For that reason it gets a 3 stars instead of 2.

To be fair I have had good food here the last time I came here, which was a year back, so I may have to come back someday and re-review.

The Great Bear can be good and bad depending on servers and whether it's their awful karaoke night.
I used to come here when it was Delaney's and loved it much more then (even though it was scuzzier and old-man barish).
They have good specials and the food is good ol' pub food.
Went here for my birthday once and had lots of fun. I recommend visiting!

The pitchers of beer served here are ridiculously small.  In fact it is the same size as my mug i used to get filled at Arts Club Bzzr Gardens at UBC in the day.  But they did make up for this with their well portioned half-size  nachos.

I'm quite happy to have found this place. It's about a 30 minute walk from my digs, and has quality food and attentive, friendly staff. It's a great place to unwind with a book on a weekday afternoon (I work early mornings and weekends, so nightlife is not my thing).

The menu is a little above your standard pub fare. It has the burgers, wings, and appies you would expect, but everything is a little bit fresher and they use quality ingredients - nothing tastes 'just like Costco.'

I had the clubhouse sandwich, and they scored big points for two reasons: 1) Crispy bacon. 2) Real roasted turkey, not cold cuts. Oh! make that three reasons. There was real cheddar cheese.

They feature a brunch on Sundays from 11 -2 that I'm itching to try. I figure any time you can get waffles and roast beef in the same meal, you gotta go.

The food isn't great and the service can be anywhere from decent to terrible depending on the waitstaff.  The people (both patrons and staff) are, without fail, plesant, though.  It'll do in a pinch and their beer selection helps.
