The Grad features a great draft beer selection including some local choices and imported. If that's not your thing, many beers by the bottle, and there are usually several choices of wines by the glass.

Service is friendly but mostly counter service except at busy times (Friday afternoons are very popular, get there by 4 if you want to sit).

The restaurant features a full menu during meal hours, but is pub snacks only during off-hours. In the summer, there is a BBQ on the patio as well. Overall food quality is fairly good, although I find the pizza to be a weak spot. Tastes like the kind you'd buy from a grocery store and cook yourself. Better choices are the burgers (incl. veggie options), nachos, and lunch specials.

Be aware the technically the Grad is a members-only club, for UWO grad students and  associates (faculty and staff). That said, during off-hours it is open to everyone from what I can tell.

The Grad Club is about the only place to hang out and drink for graduate students at Western--the Wave and the Spoke, the other on-campus places, are lame and crawling with undergrads anyway. It specializes in greasy pub-grub which often gets put out when the Grad Club caters for orientations, departmental functions, or weekend training courses.

Tuesday night is Trivia Night, and it's astounding how much  impoverished graduate students (and faculty, too) get worked up over winning a couple of ten-dollar beer coupons. When they changed trivia masters last semester, to someone who asked rather imprecise questions, things got pretty ugly. ("The starship Enterprise is powered by antimatter, not dilithium! C'mon!!")

I have been here for breakfast, lunch and dinner, its one of the best places to gather and hang out for any event (such as watching the FIFA world cup!)  The food is just alright, like any other fast food, but the atmosphere is great!
