Absolutely loved this little bed and breakfast! The rooms were clean and cozy. I enjoyed the staff. The included breakfast was delicious! I really liked that they had games and books to use in the lobby for a rainy day. It was also helpful that they had beach gear to borrow so that you can pack light! Really loved the yoga on the beach.

The restaurant proper was closed when I arrived at 5pm but the marquee was open.
For essentially a self-serve bbq at the motorway, prices were rather high. The place is very close to the beac but behind the dunes and the road so don't expect any views.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (jool…)Tonbridge, United Kingdom04433Nov 18, 2008
Close to the dunes of Camber Sands, The Place at the beach is a bit off the beaten track but well worth a visit if you are in the area. I took my wife here for her birthday. The food was excellent, I thoroughly recommend the local salt marsh lamb and the fish looked superb.
There's a fixed price lunch menu during the week and specials according to stock at the local suppliers. Sunday roasts are a given. Read the reviews on the walls as you make your way to the restrooms.
There are rooms if you want to stay and deals on dinner, B&B packages.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype User (Jasmin…)London, United Kingdom04Apr 28, 2010
Quite a nice restaurant, I'd say the prices are a little steep for what you get. The drinks were not cheap either. Very enjoyable outside seating though.
Would probably stay in the hotel again but would opt out on the food.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
