I LOVE karaoke!!! But, I am not a big fan of getting up in front of a bar full of strangers and singing my songs. Karaoke may have been invented by the Japanese, but it has been perfected by Koreans. Korean karaoke, aka nuriebong (or music room) is when you book a room for your group and then only your group is present when you sing. So, you don't have to compete so much for the mic and you only perform in front of your friends. It is a brilliant concept. Fullhouse is located in Chinatown (Somerset) just above the Kowloon Chinese grocery store. It can be a bit spendy though - you pay for the room and for drink service (delivery of alcohol to your music room). But, it is totally worth it and you can split the cost with all your song mates. Try it!
