Review from Dan D.
This place is pretty awsome.
For a small museum (dedicated to the rock slide that buried part of the town of Frank), there are some really cool parts and everything is in really nice shape.
There is something for everyone here, so it is a great place for a family to stop by. -
Review from Corey G.
Now this is a sight to see. After about a century, you can still clearly see the damage caused by this HUGE rock slide. The tall mountain to the south of the highway, is still clearly absent a huge chunk of material. And then the destruction on the valley floor is jaw-dropping.
Pity to the unfortunate souls who lived in the path of this event of gruesome raw power. I've not made it to the Interpretive Centre, but you can see so much from Highway 3. You drive right through the huge boulders, which at one time--were probably hundreds/thousands of feet higher up.Listed in: My FTR's ("First To Review")
