A wonderful florist downtown for those last minute anniversary/birthday/etc events to pick up a good bouquet. Went in after work (around 6pm) and the florist was very helpful.
I asked to keep the price in the $20-$30 range and not a single note of snottiness, AMAZING! Cannot count the number of times I have done this at other florists and received the stink eye. She did a great job of picking an arrangement that impressed without breaking the bank. I will be back for sure. -

Awesome! I was helping organize a charity event, and found the Flower Basket close to my office.
I needed five cut flower arrangements on fairly short notice to acknowledge some of the organizers and team members for their hard work in pulling this event together.
When I went into the flower basket and gave them my budget for the five arrangements, they happily gave some suggestions and we agreed upon the final product.
When I came back a few hours later to pick up my bouquet, they definately went above and beyond my budget. When I commented on it, they said, "well, since it was for charity, we threw in a few things".
Nice!
The staff were friendly and helpful, and one of their staff even helped me walk the flowers down the street to the event so I didn't have to make two trips!
Thank you very much to the staff at the flower basket. All of the people that were acknowledged LOVED their bouquets. They represented both themselves, and this event very well. I won't hesitate to think of The Flower Basket for my next event.Listed in: Calgary Companies with Heart

This is a lovely florist/gift shop. They are just getting ready for Christmas now.
Not only do they carry flowers but gifts for different occasions.
The flowers are quite fresh as well.
Very pleasant sales people.

I walk past this store pretty much every day and yesterday I finally decided to poke my head in.
I'm with C T., it's a neat little store! They do have beautiful flowers, unique gifts and wonderful sales people.
It's always nice to know that there's a florist near by and the next time I need to pick up some flowers, I'll likely head back here.
