After I bought my new reel at The Fishin' Hole, I realized that I didn't get any fishing line put on! I was about to head out of the city to go fishing, so I stopped at The Fishing Centre on 82 Street.
While I waited for someone to help me, I looked at their hooks. They were expensive, like most places are, but the selection was quite good. I was actually looking for a particular type of hook, like the one I had lost in a river many years ago. It was light metallic blue with red accents and sort of shaped like a fish. I was so happy, when I found a hook here that looked almost exactly like it.
Finally, someone helped me, and the guy totally knew what he was doing. He knew what kind of line I would need for the light fishing I was doing. Putting on the line only took a couple minutes, so I was out of there and ready to fish in no time! -

The staff is friendly and helpful here but they are limited on stocked items. Trying to outfit hunting and fishing seems to limit the variety of stock items they carry on hand. They have a bit of common everyday items but do not carry any new or more advanced items you may be interested in. Always looking for new advantages and ideas in sport fishing and they do not have any.Listed in: Sporting Equipment, Going Fishing
