I had my industrial re-pierced here by the apprentice piercer Aisha a couple of days ago. It was done under the supervision of her mentor Rick. Haven't had any problems so far, which is definately a good sign.
Piercings here can be a bit costly, but that's expected for a piercing shop in that area of Grandville. Russ and Rick, the resident piercers there, are very experianced in what they do. Not to mention, both of them have quite a bit of experiance in more exotic and extreme mods.
This place isn't your typical tattoo shop either. It's an art gallery and a clothing shop featureing the works of local artists. All of the "sterile" work is done in rooms upstairs away from public view (unlike many other shops).
Don't let the heavily pierced and tattooed guys behind the counter scare you away if it's your first time. I probably had the least amount of piercings out of everyone in the shop and the staff didn't judge me or treat me any different than any other customer.
I can't speak for their tattooing services, as I haven't gotten a tattoo there yet.
Whether you're looking to get your ears/belly button pierced, a fancy three-point ear project, or add to your collection of tattoos, this is the place to go. Be sure to ask for Aisha or whoever the apprentice at the time is, it will cost you less.Listed in: Shop local

OOOOPS! I overlooked reviewing the Fall after getting tattooed in early February.. A thoughtful birthday present from my amazing wife!
This was my first time at the Fall and my 16th or 17th tattoo.. Obviously I've been to many shops before and somehow this one stands out. A clean, ginormous space. Two floors. Rad art and even radder artists.
I recieved my most beautiful ink to date from the amazing Kay Abbott. What talent and not mention the most chill person who ever stuck ink on my skin. She's definitely going to be doing my next piece, and the one after that, and the one after that....

The Fall is great, they really take professionalism to the max which is surpising for a business run by younger men.
You are really in safe hands from the minute you walk in the door, everyone one of the workers has a puppy dog persona which really soothes my restless nerves.
I knew I was in good hands with Russ Fox as I have heard nothing but good reviews about him since I was about 16, I was very eager to see what it was all about! Holy shit this guy is nothing short of amazing, he walks you through everything and ensures that you know 100% that you are in good hands.
After 4 weeks my pericing was doing well and I stupidly attempted to change the jewellery and it ended in a bloody, swollen discusting mess. I urgently needed to see a peircer the next day to have it looked at and have proper jewellery back in since Russ was out of town I took a change and went to see Rick Gilmour who was also a teddy bear on the inside! I felt like a complete idiot when I went in and he assured me that I was being too hard on myself and made it clear that his only concern was getting my peircing clean, happy and with proper sized jewellery (I had put in a ring that was too small!) He showed amazing empathy while I was fighting back tears as he pushed a taper and then the jewellery into my poor swollen little nostril.
If I were to get a new piercing I would have a really hard time choosing between Russ or Rick because they are both incredibly talented in their feild with unbeleivable people skills.Listed in: All Stars!, Modify Me

The Fall Tattoo shop now has a gallery and clothing store at the back called Wearable Arts, featuring a variety of fabulously talented and home grown artists work. The over all feel has a very Vancouver essence.
On the wall right now are some captivating pieces that I can only describe as 'urban edge.' both thought provoking and inspiring at the same time. It draws you in, (if you can pardon the pun,) with morbid fascination.
The clothing is all one of a kind. Tee shirts, hoodies, jackets, all local artists graphics and designs, mostly limited edition. A kind of wearable tattoo. -That's what they should have called it!
Very cool place. Very Vancouver. -

In my humble opinion, this is the best place to go for a piercing in Vancouver. I would recommend this place to anyone. Russ Foxx knows exactly what he is doing and he is outstanding at it. He is professional, knowledgeable and uber friendly. I don't remember the last time I had such a great experience getting pierced, and there's been quite a few, even in Vancouver. I have a very high tolerance for pain but this place is just ridiculous. I didn't even know he had started until he said, "all done!" Huh? No pain? No nothing? It was almost disappointing. Russ does very clean, excellent work. You generally want to trust the person who is putting a hole or permanent ink on your body and boys and girls, Russ is the man for all your modification needs.

Great, friendly, quick service. I came in later in the afternoon as a walk-in, for just a little bit of work. They helped me out right away. Everything was very clean, and my artist, Emilio, made sure to do everything exactly how I wanted it.

My first tattoo was the hardest for me, trying to find an artist that puts his client first proved to be very difficult here in Vancouver and after months and time spent searching I was referred to "Paul" at: The Fall Tattooing.
He was amazing to work with and took as much time as I needed to find the fit for the image of what I wanted tattooed on my arm. He gave me great feed back and worked with me till we came up with the perfect tattoo. If you are like me and need to time and feel good before you ink with your first tattoo then Paul is your man.
And of course the tattoo came out amazing, he is able to do precise and creative work. -

Hands down the best shop in the city. Great people, great artists. Part Art Gallery, this place truly is what tattooing should be about. The ART.

The Fall is huge and all about the art! I would absolutely recommend it to anyone in Van, especially the piercers. Devin Stacey is an amazing tattoo artist and a great friend but Im not being biased lol the shop is rad. Ive spent countless hours in a chair here getting my sleeve and met alot of the staff, all friendly and very relaxing. The clothing store downstairs is also great and the shop features local artists work and the clothing is all local as well. This place is all about community and locals which sold me instantly on it. I also had the very talented and magical Russ Fox pierce my......Vag, and considering how weird and awkward i thought it was gonna be, it wasnt so bad haha he made me feel as comfortable as one can whilst lying down, pantless, with socks on spread eagle and a needle near your crotch...a daunting task. I almost kicked the poor guy in the head when the needle went thru, sorry Russ! lol also when russ was away once i got a lip amd ear piercing and the man who was filling in was great!! Go here! even just to see the art.oh did i mention they also have great shpws randomly and sweet fundraisers, yay

I recently got my ears pierced by Russ Fox at this shop. He is an excellent piercer, very professional and good at what he does. He took the time and care to show me that the tools were sanitized and that the one time use items were disposed of properly. Russ also re pierced my labret, and both piercings are doing great and healing well. Great work and results for your dollar, and the shop is really cool looking and clean. This is a great place to go, very central downtown and easy to find.
