This place has undergone a lot of name changes and ownerships in the past decade without ever really being successful. Blame it on the location, putting it right on the "end" of Commercial Drive, where the busses turn in to loop and where the crackheads sometimes to do drug deals after riding the Skytrain.  

The space is really amazing, it's huge and very nicely decorated. There's seating outdoors, on a higher leveled floor, next to the long plate glass windows, and in the cozy nook next to the entrance. There's a bar and kitchen, and they make an ok breakfast and lunch by day and serve moderately priced booze to people during the evening. Often there will be watered down entertainment, like a string duo or a round of singer/songwriters.

Still, it's usually deserted, seemingly cursed by the population at large. One of those places that you'd never think to go, but should go if anyone ever invited you.
