Full disclosure: I never went here to get a tattoo for myself, just to (unwillingly) keep my cousin company as he got his (I'm from Calgary and not from the area, and he was my ride for the day so I didn't really have a choice). As such, I spent most of my time in the waiting room in the front lobby killing time.
What I can tell you:
The place is clean and orderly. The front staff were very friendly, and after observing them for an hour or so (as there wasn't much to do while waiting), they were very professional and helpful, to clients at the venue and over the phone.
The waiting room consists of some padded chairs and a coffee table with binders with the various tattoos you can get. There's a water cooler and a washroom as well.
I couldn't tell if they had free wifi, but there was one of those 'linksys' unsecured access points with full bars that worked from the lobby, which was handy for me since I was able to write a few Yelp reviews on my laptop while I was sitting around waiting (but with all unsecured wifi spots, especially those that you don't know who owns them, I would never to any kind of financial transactions or anything that requires inputting a password of any sort).
I don't think I'd ever get a tattoo for myself (simply doesn't interest me), but if I were in BC and had to get one, I'd probably go here.
