There's not much to The Druid that you won't find at any one of the other sprawling pubs in the Byward Market or downtown Ottawa.
I'm not certain but it sure feels like this place is just an extension of the neighbouring Heart and Crown. The menu is very similar and the design and layout sure feels like it too.
This place has also seemed much quieter than the H&C so if you find you can't get a table next door or want to have a beer but at a quieter place then I'd settle for The Druid.
The inside isn't all that large and to be honest it feels like this place is just there so the Heart and Crown can take up more real estate.
The service was OK, the drink options were standard and the wrap I ordered was decent. Not exactly a memorable place but nothing really wrong with it either.
